January 17 to February 17. I'd guess around mid February as well sounds correct for being able to easily find one.

For the Wii, I'd guess early January, maybe even December. Nintendo has a LOT of units out there. Websites have done multiple preorders.

Absolutely. They only sold 100,000 in Japan... and that's supposed to be their "money pot."

I don't see supply meeting demand until late spring next year...

I will not start looking for a ps3 until the middle of February for the Show. If it looks like the game is weak, I will hold off all together.

Pared, on another note did your 360 meet its maker? I see the xbox number in your sig.

It's just funny how many people have issues with their system... and Next Gen is supposed to be this amazing thing... yet it's probably the worst generation hardware wise so far.

I'm the same way, I want to see both baseball games next year before getting a PS3. If I'm not impressed, I can wait till Devil May Cry 4 shows up to the party, and if I'm not impressed with that...........then I wait a bit longer.

as much as i'm sure that game will probably kick a$$, I just can't see myself spending 600+ just to play one game.

not me. noT paying $600 for a PS3 for one game. I love baseball but I won't pay that much just to play video game baseball. Most were unimpressed with Madden, myself included, and I seem to be getting by pretty well with out a football game. There will be at least a $100-$200 price drop before I consider getting a PS3.

I didn't mean to imply anyone would pay $660 + tax for one baseball game. But if people here were on the fence about it and The Show scores REAL high from everyone then it will tip the scale towards buying one.

gotcha. yeah because I just don't see the point in anyone getting a PS3 if they own a 360 at this point. It seems the sticking point with the 360 for me right now is XBL vs. Sony's online component. No comparison it seems like.

If you are strictly a sports gamer and you want more options, the PS3 is the way to go. For me, my console of choice will come down to the success or failure of 2K's baseball offering. If this game stinks, I will probably sell my 360 and buy a PS3. Not to mention a little game called NFL 2K5 being available on the PS3 only.

I'm about a 80% sports gamer and have no desire to get a PS3. I see zero advantage when talking sports to get a PS3 at 600.00.

I've had Madden 07 since it came out and have played it only a handful of times. At this rate, I may not touch another football game for a long time until competition can return.
