So far in the little campaign I've played I'd say yes.

But if what others are saying and the online has connection issues then I'm not sure, I bought it earlier and love it so far but if this game has issues with getting in games that'll be a disappointment, I plan to check that out in a few minutes but for now I want to try and beat the mission I'm on in campaign.

I've had more "Oh ****!" moments in 30 minutes of play with CoD3 than I've had in about 2 hours of play in GoW.

The action is intense. They took CoD2, and stepped it up a notch.

wow... no time for impressions but 1 hour online... BUY this game... smoother, bigger, badder, sweeter than CoD2.

The online issues are considerable. It's not just me, everybody has commented on the difficulty of getting into a game, particularly off of the menu where you search for the game of your choice. The only time I have been able to get into those games is if there is 2-4 players in the games. What are they going to do ? Come up with a patch 4 months down the road (deja vu)? Unacceptable.

What types of games are you trying to join? I just tested hopping into various games, and had success with all of my attempts. I only tested the War, CTF, and HQs modes, but each room had at least 15 people playing.

Agree, the game is INCREDIBLE. I'm not feeling Gears at all.
