I get the three red lights all the time and i get it to work again. Sometimes u just gotta press and hold the power button over and over and then it will turn on...Or sometimes what I'll do is put a diff game in, hold the power button down, the system will turn on then I'll put in the game I wanted to play.

I do this pretty much everytime I gotta play 360...It's a pain but until it dies for good, the method works.

do you have a warranty? If so, I wouldn't keep doing all that. Just get you another one.

I hadn't seen this thread before, but hopefully this will help someone. My 360 died and they were trying to charge the $140 something to fix it. I talked the guy to death about how crazy that was, and that I had heard this was a problem, ect..... Not being loud or anything, but just "voicing my frustration' for a good 10 minutes or so. He transferred me to a supervisor who was extremely nice, and helpful. She said she completely understood, and marked the cost to fix it down to $25-30, basically what it would have cost to get the warrenty. If this happens to anyone who is right in that 90-120 day window, I would take that route.
