Microsoft actually takes action on stuff like this really easily. I had my account deactivated for two weeks once.. Not sure what I did to be honest with you (they don't tell you), but I apparently did something.Originally Posted by Briman123

Re: Is it really that serious?
Seems silly to write a letter to Microsoft over this.
A threat? Come on.
It seems to me they both take gaming way too seriously. If a kid waved a stun gun at me in person, then it would be a threat. To take a picture and flip someone over in cyberspace seems like a non-factor to me.
I would also hope Microsoft doesn't start deleting accounts on the basis that someone insulted another player, or took a picture of themselves flicking them off. Block the user and move on. No need for anyone to be banned.
Online insults are worthless and a joke. The online environment is driven by people posing, making empty threats, and acting without limitations within the cyber realm. If people don't realize, or can't handle, that, then they should be the ones leaving, because it's more dangerous to take such silly insults personally than it is to issue them.Enjoy football?
