Each movie. No Mercy is about 30-40 minutes. They go up from there. All 4 movies can be beat in about 5 hours. That's not the point of this game though, since every single time you play it'll be different, that's the point.

I would add to this that when EG says No Mercy can be beat in 30-40 minutes, that would be on easy, or normal if you're running with a good crew. Advanced will take about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes and expert will take anywhere from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending how many times you restart (and trust me, it will be A LOT).

I was doing expert on Dead Air with a few randoms. I think we might have actually made it to Chapter 4 before I said forget it.

I'm pretty sure Survival mode is the new co-op stuff. I haven't heard any details of it, but I expect it will be something similar to the Horde mode that Gears of War had, where you try to "hold down" a location from multiple waves of zombies. basically the finale of each campaign with more waves.

I was under the impression it was a single player mode with a leaderboard, but it might also be co-op, i don't know.

My fiance and I played this game last night for two hours. I made it to the helicopter on No Mercy, but the others were almost dead so I went to help and I got killed too. I should have left them to die.

Game is a blast.

Only thing I don't care for is how you can be rescued, but I do understand why its in the game.

Any rumors of a Left 4 Dead two being in the works?

LOL dookie you amaze me. You JUST got left 4 dead and you want a 2nd lol. It just came out, no word on a second but I wil be willing to bet we will see a 2nd for sure. Not any time soon though.

Me too. Only regret I have is not getting it when it released and enjoying all the fun times online with everyone.

crouch, turn your flashlight off and don't get too close to her.

also recommended: not shooting her or lighting her on fire.
