I understand if you guys prefer R62 over FFOW but, what I dont get is why are you guys in the FFOW Thread talking about R6. Not bashing but, I thought they have different threads for the different games.

So with that said.

I just picked up the game and Im very impressed. I only got to play about 5 mins online and I feel like its COD4 with bigger maps and vechicles, tech drones, and more players. I love COD4 and I always thought what would happen if you could control the the helio's and airstrikes. You would have one sick game. I havent played FFOW enough to say its close to COD4 but, from what I have played I like it. Hope to see you guys online.

Some guy asked if we'd be getting Frontlines over RB6V2 and I responded with a no. Besides, in the heavily saturated FPS genre a new FPS is very likely to be compared to another FPS.

I got it, broke down with gift cards and got it.

Online is smooth, played for about an hour or so of 32 man multiplayer matches.

Single player is a lot better than the demo, but not great, it is like a giant war.

The game will get totally lost in the shuffle, but it's not bad at all. I'd give it an early 7.5 to 8.

I thought there were 50 man matches? Or are those for dedicated servers only?

I thought so too, but all I've seen so far are 32. 32 is insane though on some of the big maps, feels like a giant war. Rock solid connections as well.

Yeah I'm getting this and Vegas, once I beat the single player on Vegas, they said the multiplayer maps are almost the same as vegas 1.

So I can see playing Frontlines a lot online.

Can't wait to pick this up!

Thats one plus of being a tax preparer. But i shouldn't have bought it with the Show coming out next week, but oh well.

Found the 50 player matches. There's like 4 or 5 servers that hold 50 players.

LOL! Today I find out that you got a PSP, now you bought a game that you thought wasn't good based off of the demo, is this the Extremegamer that we know or did someone take over your body.

I've had my eye on this title, but the SP demo is not on LIVE anymore. Have you had a chance to try out the SP yet?

Single player demo was horrible, thats why they removed it, they had an article on how they took all the criticism from it, and boosted the game a lot to better it before release. And it showed in the multiplayer demo. From EG's words the single player is much better than the demo was anyways.

I'll be picking this up tomorrow and getting online for a 50 man match or 3 or 4 or 20.

Yes, the single player demo we originally played on XBL was terrible, I think they improved a bunch from it. One, the aiming is greatly improved. Two, the controls feel a lot tighter.

For the single player experience, it's decent, but the AI is just dumb. It basically plays like the online game, just offline if that makes sense.

Online is the main reason to own it though, 50 player matches are insane. Had a match earlier where we got pinned back to our last spawn, so there was 25 of us holding off an army of 25 in one tight spot, probably one of the cooler moments I've had on Live because it was just so chaotic.

The legs won't be there though, I don't see it holding up for a long time with games like COD4 (especially once new maps come), still Halo 3 somehow, and Vegas 2 coming.

I do really like multiplayer, but I was a HUGE fan of Team Kaos Desert Combat mod for BF1942. I put probably 100 hours into that title onlin.
