Re: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
I think those features would have made the game far too easy. I rarely play non sports games and if I could succeed with this game, anyone can. I loved it just the way it was. The only thing I would recommend for the next game is to include some stealth type chapters where avoiding detection would be at a premium.Comment

Re: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
One, as hard as it is, is aim for the head. I started to about halfway through the game, and found more success. Of course, if you have a shotgun, there isn't much need, but if you have say a pistol and are behind good cover, go for the head for an easy kill.
Another big one that is fairly obvious is to always try to find GOOD cover. There is a lot of destructable cover in the game that may provide cover one second, and then leave you completely exposed the next. Stick to walls and solid structures, and try to watch the routine of the guy firing at you. For example, if a guy shooting at you has a shotgun, when he runs out of ammo, he's gonna have a long time to reload, so take advantage and drop some bullets on him. Pretty much the best advice is, unless you have a really strong weapon, then don't charge right out into the open, as enemies come from every which way. Find which guys have stronger weapons first, such as a guy on a turret or with a rocket launcher, and take them out. Leave the pistol wielders for last, as they are a much smaller threat to you. Stick to good cover and take advantage of the environment as well.Comment

If anyone still doesn't have this game it can be had on Amazon today for $39.99. It's easily one of the best PS3 games available if not the best.

Re: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
Finally got my PS3 and my friend let me borrow this and I plan to play it tonight before, during, and after the draft. Let me know if the Knicks make a trade. I might end up missing it."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
