Played it briefly. Didn't finish the demo but I can say I would purchase this game. The gun play and hand to hand combat is pretty cool and the graphics are amazing. I've played the demo 3 times now and I really love this game. At first, the movement and controls overall seemed a little off, but that was mainly because I was playing Ratchet right before and Drake moves a lot slower. After you get the controls down, the game is just awesome all around and I'll be picking it up day one.Comment

Hands down the "game of the year not named MLB07" in my opinion. The demo is fantastic. I love the gunplay and the hand to hand combat. I hate the sixaxis stuff, but it's well done in this game. November 19th can't get here soon enough. The visuals are amazing and the controls are really tight.Comment

I was only able to play about 10 minutes of the demo this morning before I had to leave for work. The cinematics seem to be directed well and they have a very movie-like feel. The controls were better than I expected, given the life-like animation the game has. The graphics are very nice. I love jungle environments in games. So far, the levels might feel a little too linear, but I think that is just a result of you being in a jungle which is supposed to be a pretty open environment and the developers having to find ways of keeping the player on a straight path.
The game feels like Tomb Raider meets Gears of War (similar cover system, weapons mapped to the d-pad).
As crazy as it sounds, the thing that impressed me the most from the demo was the fact that when your character goes in the water, his clothes actually get wet. lol. It was just really cool to see your jeans a darker shade of blue after you come out of the water. I love those little details in games.Last edited by tanis38; 11-09-2007, 09:20 AM.Comment

I enjoyed the opening part and it kind of hooked me in. I think this will be a great game once it's released. It's one of the best demos I've ever played.Comment

The animations are great, the graphics are great, the game mechanics are great but I just can't shake that been there done that feeling. It's probably because there are so many great games coming out and I am just being hyper critical to justify me not buying it. For me it's not a day 1 pick up, but I will eventually buy it.Comment

the PS3 has something to hang its hat on. A 3rd party PS3 exclusive.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
