Anyway, I'll be on tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully someone can help me get the other things I need.

Sweet. Spencer, you gonna be around as well? If we could find one more person then we could get all the x3 and x4 spots done.

I'll probably be on at some point tonight. It would be great to get those x3 and x4 areas completed.

Sweet, let's plan on it then! And...

          I ACED THE BUNKER!!! Wooooo!!!!!

It took me about an additional hour today, but I finally made it. I got to the end of the wheel of death unscathed three times total... the first time I was too far to the left at the exit and got electrocuted. The second time I made it to the conveyor belt and got electrocuted on the first jump. Finally, on the third time, I did it! The Play trophy is in my sights. I got Create today as well, so all I need are Play, Crowd Pleaser (my level needs six more plays, anyone wanna help? you really just need to hit restart level six times), and Booty Master to get the Platinum.

            Re: Little Big Planet (PS3)

Well, that was the most frustrating thing I've ever done.

I had all 4 players (randoms) on Dancers' Court, but a couple of them died before we got to the multiplayer part. So they left that level, and we eventually got back to the other 4x level (Frozen Tundra), but only two of them stayed, along with myself. I put in another controller, so I was controlling two guys, and each of the others had his own controller (and no headset or keyboard, so communication was awful). Then they just could not get the things to work, and they didn't even understand what to do though it was really obvious. I was managing two controllers better than they were, and they were either sitting around doing nothing or getting in the way.

Anyway, I had a chance to join pfunk and rspencer's game, but apparently my Internet connection isn't the "right type," even though I've never had any online problems before. Wired or wireless, my cable broadband apparently doesn't want to work.

I bet you guys got it by now, but I am so pissed at those other guys. If either of you wants to help me out anyway, maybe we can set something up.

We ended up getting them. Rspencer put in a superhuman effort playing as two controllers while my friend and I played on the other end.

If we can get four guys again sometime, I'd be more than willing to help you out, shinyhubcaps.

lol, that was pretty amusing. I kept forgetting which controller went with which character, and that 4x player area where you have to dial in to match the pictures... that was tough!

Thanks for playing, now I just need to get the rest of the bubbles I can do solo.

Yeah, that was really tricky. Good work there. I just need a couple more solo items in The Frozen Tundra and The Collector's Lair, and I need to ace The Collector's Lair and The Collector, and then the Platinum is mine.

This game is extremely fun, but it's even more fun with my 15 year old sister. I'm waiting until summer to finish playing the world mode or whatever it's called.

Sack it to Me - “The Patch” Edition

We are kicking off the week with some fun news bytes as well as introducing a great new program we are launching this week called “the patch”. Great week to all!

As most of you know, we’ve been spending the past few months touring and showing LittleBigPlanet at various promotional events. We’ve had the pleasure to meet a wide variety of great personalities from artists, to athletes, to musicians and allowed them to get their hands on LBP Create tools. Some provided great inspiration, some were extremely hands on, and in the end we came up with some great creations together, levels that in one way or another say something about what they are about. This Friday, you’ll be able to go online in LittleBigPlanet and check out a new hot spot destination on called “the patch”.

On “the patch” you’ll find LBP Original levels created by inspiring individuals and interesting personalities. For our first showcase, we are spotlighting Joe Vaux, Sarah Burke, and Nathan Cabrera. Throughout the week, you’ll hear from several of them and their own experiences creating their LBP Original, so stay tuned the rest of the week and find out what other personalities you’ll find on “the patch”.

Sony confirms R&C content for LBP

Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer that Ratchet & Clank content is "in the works" for LittleBigPlanet, "But we don't have any further details at this time."

The company was responding to developer Insomniac's Twitter, which posted a Tweet from "mmalex" (Media Molecule's Alex Evans).

"lbp levells coming, r&c content done, coming soon hopefully, up next for mm, big pack, bigger than mgs even," Tweeted Evans.

LittleBigPlanet has just received a whole month of DLC, including updates, creator tools and costumes.

                                This is great.

Web-based level-sharing portal coming to LittleBigPlanet

During an interview at the Nordic Game Conference in Malmö, Sweden this week, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans revealed to 1UP that the company will soon launch a web-based portal for LittleBigPlanet to allow players to advertise their created levels to other users and queue up downloads and get them ready for the next time they turn the game on.

According to Evans, the service will provide each created level in the game with a custom URL that players can send to friends or even advertise online -- opening up new, direct ways to publicize original stages. Evans explains, "Rather than going on forums and saying, 'Please search for my level,' you can just say, 'Here's a link.'" When other users go to that page's link, they'll be given the option to queue the download of the LBP level, which will appear in the game the next time they turn on their PlayStation 3.

In addition to things like leaderboards, photos, and comments, the portal will also offer an application programming interface (API), which can be used to create custom LBP-related applications. Evans cites examples of other APIs for websites like Flickr and Google Maps, and says it will be possible to use the LBP API to create a Google Maps page that details the locations of levels on Craft Earth. Evans says the portal and API are currently being beta tested, with a launch coming "as soon as possible."

Also in the works for LBP is a new, ongoing beta test, which will give some users the ability to test new features for the game before they hit the retail version. Like last fall's beta extravaganza, signups for the new beta test will likely be given away via various websites and the official PlayStation blog, but Evans notes that it will probably start off as a much smaller, feedback-focused process. "This time it's less about testing the online and more about giving the vocal minority a chance to see what's coming and to give us their feedback."

During the course of our interview, Evans also talks about the upcoming PSP version of LBP, teases upcoming downloadable content for PS3, and curiously refers to LBP as "the first game." For the whole scoop on what's next for Sackboys around the world, be sure to read the entire transcript of our entire interview with Alex Evans, coming soon.
