Re: Fable 2
Yep and it irks me. I can here everyone talking but no one hears me. cs heard me for a small bit but then nothing again. I even went direct to modem and bypassed the router and still no luck. I can chat with anyone but in game "group" stuff isn't working for me...

I could see you, but never could hear you. I could hear Candy, Holic, Giggas, Flawless, and others but not you.Comment

Re: Fable 2
Wish I could figure it out but like I said, even going straight through modem = nothing. Why would regular chat work but not the in game stuff?

Re: Fable 2
I thought spells were slotted on a lvl basis and you could just charged up to that lvl with the higher lvl version of the spell doing more damage and stuff than the lower lvl version? How does everybody feel about the combat system in the game? I remembering liking Fable 1's better, especially casting magic. I hate having to literally stop in the middle of a fight if I want to change spells - unless I'm missing something. Also, enemies seem a lot easier than Fable 1 (at least so far). No enemies really try to block you.Comment

Re: Fable 2
I saw Sky walking around the clock tower in Bowerstone Market. Not sure if he tried talking or not - I was too busy seducing the pie trader so I could get a cheaper price for his stall.

Re: Fable 2
Right, but when you have more than one spell on a level, you have to stop and select a spell (unless you use the one already in the slot). I just feel like the magic combat was more fluid in the first game. Its nothing major, though.

Re: Fable 2
Much like Oblivion, I went on a killing spree early on to see how bad I could become on my first trip to Bowerstone.
I killed guards.
I killed men.
I killed women.
Some of the people ran into their houses. I kicked the door down with X and killed them inside while they screamed and ran around, their little kids grasping at their legs.
Basically, I slaughtered everything, and there must have been somebody left because I could still track some people down for the Assassin's Guild for money.
Funny thing was, after slaughtering the entire Old Town district, I didn't have any wanted level. I'm assuming that's because I left absolutely nobody alive.
My guy's skin turned grey with red glowing veins all over him, and the horns stuck out about a foot. Guy was pretty sick. I want to try to get through the game by killing everybody, but shopkeepers run from me and I'm pretty sure I've killed questgivers at this point.
Not sure how that'll work out.Comment

Thanks for the laugh. If I had a character that ended up looking like that, I go completely medieval and grow horns. Harry Potter can have his own damn game.
