I never said you were not a sports gamer if you only played on PS2. Let's not dustort what I said. I said to say the games are the same between the 2 consoles is wrong.
I also have a CUBE .....

Is exactly why I have an XBOX. Most sports games are multi cross games. So to play them on the box is to play the best version.
I too play for the games not the console..owned em all kept what appealed to me.
Not downing the PS2, it is a good system. However for a sports gamer there is no choice but the XBOX. I think I can live without MLB Baseball

Other than graphics. Whats the difference between Madden? None. Well there is one. Madden can be playe donline with the ps2.

And all you guys go around speaking the ps2 has inferior graphics and is like a Nes compared to a ps1. The Xbox has more power, but that does not make a system.

Other differences with Madden: Save replays on XBOX, You can save unlimited seasons,franchises,rosters,profiles etc.. without a stack of memory cards.
You can play 4 player without an adaptor. You can have 5.1 surround sound.
And like you stated graphics. Bump mapping,lighting.

If you don't want an XBOX fine. The PS2 is fine. I just tried to point out the benefits of playing sports games on the XBOX.
Just have fun with whatever you play.
