When I saw this message, I decided that at 6:00pm I would look up GH2 on CC.com and find the nearest CC that has it in stock. I had a few show up but they were near where I work at. So I figure what the hell I'll give it a shot, but I didn't order it online from home just incase they gave me some grief when I had paid for it. I went to the store looking in their videogame section, but nothing was out. He then goes asks his manager, but they tell me that it doesn't come out till 4/3.
I then turnaround and tell them how I can order it online and then come in to pick it up. So they check out CC.com. The manager makes a few phone calls and then tells me if I order online its mine to have since the bundle won't scan through their computers like the pre-release games do at Target now. I walk over to their Firedog station, order the game online through CC.com with instore pickup and then head to the counter to pickup the game. I drove 45+ minutes one way to get this thing but well worth it.
So far, this is the same game as the PS2 version with the updated graphics and Dolby Digital through your stereo. I really like the addition of Possom Kingdom. My only complaint so far is that the guitar is pissing me off for 1 reason, hitting "back" to activate "star power" is a bitch as to how they placed it. But if you tilt the guitar upwards it will also activate "star power" which is fine, but I do wish that the "back" button was better placed. Its a bit harder to do if your sitting down.
I need to find a way to get the 1600 points on Tuesday. There was a problem with their entire computer system at CC so they couldn't get me a receipt. I'll call them tomorrow to see if they can print me one.
Plus this guitar, feels a bit tighter than the PS2 ones when hitting the notes.
