I understand that the guitars are wired, but are they going to be wireless in the near future, because I dont want to spend 90 bucks plus whatever else another one costs and get burned with wireless guitars in two months. Not to mention, i dont want to to be pulling my 360 for the shelf jamming to hard.

I bet it takes longer than 2 months for wireless guitars to arrive. I think that you will be safe.

I tried to do the in-store pickup through CC and successfully ordered it, but promptly received a call stating it didn't go on sale until Tuesday. They are going to give me the $24 gift certificate and I guess I'll use that towards the purchase of the game if they let me.

I must have gotten in just under the wire yesterday...I saw that it was "out of stock" at one of the stores on my way home so I ordered it from another store about 3 hrs before I left work. When I got there, the woman behind customer service had a scowl on her face, and I could hear her yelling at someone else that worked there "It's not out yet!" Needless to say I expected a battle.

I walked up to the counter though, handed in my stuff, and she grabbed GH2 and my usb extension and I went on my way...there must have been other people there trying to just pick it up in store. Thanks for the heads up OS!

Alright, Im just gonna go had and get em when i can. 360's getting repaired so i cant play for a while. Great luck i have 360 breaks right before spring break which is a time when i actually have time to play.

I'm so stupid. I knew I shouldnt have read this thread. I want this game so bad, but I was just going to wait and get it as a birthday gift in June. But now I'm just really craving this damn game

Picked mine up yesterday at CC. When I went in I handed them the receipt. There were three people standing behind the counter. One of them goes to the back to get it, the other guy says "I didn't think we were supposed to sell them unil Tuesday." As the cashier hands me the game the other guy yells out the managers name and walks toward his office. I got my reciept and walked out as fast as I could. I kept looking behind me in the parking lot figuring he might follow me out.
So far I am loving the game. Never played the PS2 version, so everything is brand new to me. I beat the game on medium difficulty and that was pretty tough, for me anyway. Definately alot of replay value.

Hahah good for you. If he would of followed you out, nothing he could do about it. It was already sold to you. Shoot, if you payed and got your receipt and then he said, hey we messed up, we're not supposed to sell them until Tuesday, oh well too bad for them.

well.. can tell you the employees from Gamestop can not do simple math.. after trade-in & my preorder, which came to $23 & change, I wanted to pay off the game.. I was told I owed $76 & change (game came to $96).. that, if you were keeping track meant that $20 was put down.. so I had to go over the receipt with the person to show them they needed to do a bit better math..

Never played the GH series, but I'm tempted now.

I played it at my girl's freinds house the other night, here kids were playing it on there PS2, and man was I hooked, I was beating the kids away the the guitar just to keep playing, I hope this comes out for the PS3 sometime soon, I loved it.

Gamestop will be out of business soon enough. They have nothing to offer gamers now except game trade ins. They have no good incentives to buy games at there store over the CC and Best Buys of the world. At least CC will give u 1600 MS Point card, what has Gamestop done? They don't even get games early anymore. Not to mention that one prick that seems to work at every gamestop who thinks he is the know it all, end it all gamer guru.
