I've been practicing and messing around with the hammer ons, the notes have to be pretty close together right?

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
If that's not clear enough, you should check out the advanced techniques tutorial in the game. It'll show it a lot better than I can through words, and it gives you a chance to try it as well.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
Yes, pretty close. You'll get a feel for how close they can be. Mostly solos and runs. If, on a real guitar you'd slide from the 15th to the 12th fret or something, chances are the GH2 notes will be close enough to use a pull off. The tune will clue you in on how to play it more than the notes on screen alone will. There really is somewhat of an art to grooving a song really well. Some days I'll hit a zone and won't miss anything. Others I just suck at everything.Comment

The credits rule!
No pitchers were harmed in the making of this game.... except for one..... Joel Zumaya, he had it coming. LMAO
Oh, and Johnny, you have anywhere between 20-50K per song to reach one person on my friends list.I already know I'll never be close..LOL

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
I've run into the same problem that I had before with Hard Mode. I beat 4 out of 5 songs on Tier 1 Hard, but am stuck on "Surrender". I'm gonna try to practice a few more times, but man is it a pain in the arse.
Hard is what "Expert" should be.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
This is my first time playing the Guitar Hero series and I must say it's the most fun I've ever had with a videogame I think. I'm not doing too bad, I'm getting about 80-90% of the notes on medium. I tried to do the hammer off stuff, but that really messes me up. Hopefully I'll get better at that later.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
I recommend going to a Best Buy or Walmart and trying out the game at their kiosk. The experience is much better at home, but trying this out at one of these stores might give you a good indication as to how it plays.Comment
