Needed another guitar, so i went into cc during lunch and picked up a bundle ( only 3 left when i got there). So i got the 3200 ms points from the saturday purchases, and another 1600 for this bundle. I plan to turn the game in that came with the second bundle for in store credit.

I found one today, had no interest in a 2nd one, but the wife said she wanted to start playing, so I picked it up. My EB got in like 10 of them.
Then went to CC and got my 1600 points from getting GH2 over the weekend. No hassle at all, gave me the points card and I left.Comment

My Impressions:
1) I HATE this damn angular POS controller...I much prefer the Gibson SG model from the PS2 games. Just can't get used to it, yet
2)The "star power" seems a bit harder to pull off, almost as if there's some lag involved when you raise the guitar vertically. There's no lag anywhere else, but it's a bit odd here (especially since "star power" is vital for the high scores)
3)The achievements, while well done (they don't slow the game when you get them) have one MAJOR issue! Why oh why must Activision force me to beat the game on ****ty Easy and Medium in order to get the achievements! Shouldn't I be able to unlock the lower difficulty achievements after beating it on Hard or Expert ala GRAW2?
4)The new songs, through the second tier are great additions!
5)Where's the downloadable content on Day One? Thought it was ready!
6)Did I mention I hate the new controller?

7)I finally have something to show up all you Achievement Whores! I fully plan on topping the Friends leaderboard the entire time, for every song. The fact that I'm already tops (granted there aren't many yet), on Expert, is AWESOME! Can't wait to get some competetion at the top
Really, this game is a must-buy, even if you played it on PS2 (assuming you can get used to the controller). It's just so much fun! The second guitar (rhythm or bass) parts add a whole other dynamic, the prospect of DLC is awesome, and the game sounds better with the 5.1 surround and looks better (of course). The leaderboards are also a nice touch, and the multiple difficulties make the game accessible to anyone (and if you play two player one can jam on Expert with the other, like my wife, on Easy).
