Personally, I hate Expert mode. I like it on Medium, and a few hard songs. Once you get passed that, it just doesn't feel fun anymore, to me anyway.

Yea, Medium is just right for me. This game is really addictive, hope that GH3 comes out on the PS3 too.

Just scored GH2 at Circuit City. Go to Circuitcity.com, place it in your cart and see if there are any stores that have instore pickup, and if they do, you are golden. Will give impressions soon.

No, not until Tuesday. So, I am going to rebuy it on Tuesday and just take back the sealed one with the receipt I just used. The hassle is well worth the 1600 points and the ability to play Possum Kingdom right now.



Thought so far:

Money. I have almost got my money's worth just by having the ability to play Possum Kingdom. Playing in HD is phenomenal. Achievements must be easy because they are coming on my screen already quite a bit.

They also changed up the song order.

Any news on Achievements? I want to know if I'll HAVE to play the lower difficulties, or if beating the game on Expert will suffice (unlock the lower level achievements like GRAW2).

Man, I'm thinking about it--if it wasn't rush hour I'd go in a heartbeat. If you purchase it, it's yours right? They'll have to hold it. What I don't get is why they get to sell it? It'd be a waste if they tell me to come back Tuesday.

I don't see how you would have a problem, but my theory was if I did, I was leaving with a $24 gift card because Circuit City has that online ordering policy. I have not heard yet of anyone not having the CC not sell it to them after they online ordered it. But you never know I guess.

How can you hate it on expert mode? Once you're good enough, and you play on expert mode, you have to hit every note the actual guitar would play. On any other mode you don't get to play every note, therefore it doesn't give you the real rock feel.

How can you hate it on expert mode? Once you're good enough, and you play on expert mode, you have to hit every note the actual guitar would play. On any other mode you don't get to play every note, therefore it doesn't give you the real rock feel.

I don't play guitar, so medium was perfect for me. Something with that last button that my hands could just never do.

BTW, a real guitarist can't necessarily go Expert on these songs; conversely, somebody that's never touched a video game before can become an Expert with these songs. Analogously, many dancers cannot play Dance Dance Revolution.
