Did you guys download the new DLC? How is it?

Haven't played them yet cuz I'm letting a friend borrow my copy of GHII until I leave for college (blasphemy!). Having looked at videos of the GH songs online however, I can tell you that on Expert mode one of the songs is mostly power chords (Famous Last Words), one has an unusual rhythm at times (This Is How I Disappear), and one actually looks challenging to complete (Teenagers). All look fun though, just don't expect a new batch of Face-Melters.

I would rank them Disappear, Teenagers, Last Words..which is a little disappointing because I thought Last Words would be amazing just listening to it, but it is a lot of the same notes in a row, very fast. I only play on Medium cause I'm not as GH gifted as most of you, but that level is where I have the most fun.

All three are very good and fun to play if you like MCR like I do. I wish 'Helena' was on there though...

I played these new MCR tracks last night and almost got my 1000 note streak from Famous Last Words. I finished the song with 1134/1135 notes (or something around there). I missed one note and it was a simple GY cord. But I did get >400k on it.

I agree, Famous Last Words was just not given due justice on this game. Like I said before, I'm not that big of a fan of their music but this song just didn't feel right on here. I feel like I suck at this game because I can't play anything past Medium, and can only play a few songs on Hard before frustration sets in. Its about having fun and that is all that matters.

Having played it now (I play on Expert so take it for what it's worth), it is fun, but it's a lot of the same chords over and over until the solo kicks in. It's not as fun as Disappear, and definitely not as fun as Teenagers, imo.

I'm curious to see how many more of these artist packs they release for GHII; I'll probably buy anything that's halfway decent, lol.

Yeah, I think releasing multiple songs from the same artist and maybe album is pretty cool.

The only thing that irritates me, and not the price, is that they didn't just dump a ton of DLC on us. They had the whole GHI game and they didn't even release 50% of it. Made a ton of money with DLC, yet you hold back a ton of songs? Makes no sense. I really want to dump my PS2.

I think they should have just released GH1 (& GH2 for Wii as well) for the 360 and Wii a couple months after GH3 comes out - PS2 can keep the 80s.

That is a lot of money......yes, they should have released more packs for this game.

I purchased one song pack that was released. I still think it's a high price for just 3 songs.
