I picked this up last night and am really enjoying it. I never thought I would like it, but it's pretty cool although expensive at $90. I'm playing on easy and having a hard time getting past some songs. I can't imagine how you guys are getting through on expert.

Originally I was debating that $90 on this also, but I'm glad that I picked it up. Its a very enjoyable game and only gets better.

I was debating about getting this. Finally on Sat. i decided to trade in two games and got the game for $40. i am loving it and the only thing that i regret is not getting this game when it GH 1 came out for ps2

I 5* my first song on Expert today (I'm still on my PS2). I did it on my first try, although it was only Mother, which is probably the easiest song in the game...Feels good to be on the highest difficulty finally.

I think that distinction goes to Heart-Shaped-Box.....Mother's solo is actually pretty tough.

I think I read on here somewhere...the pinky is the big thing on Medium, whoever posted that is exactly right. I just found that out today, got my pinky going and now i'm getting through most songs.

Depends.

The 360 version does have 10 new songs(many of which I really like) which is a plus. Also, the graphics are much more crisp and the guitar is tighter which helps the actual gameplay.

If that's enough to convince you to drop $90, then go ahead. Another idea is trying to sell/trade-in your PS2 GH stuff and use that money towards this. It sounds like most, if not all, the songs from GH1 will be on XBL eventually, so if that is the case it makes selling the stuff a little easier.

Personally I traded in other games and used them towards this one since I there's no definite word on the DLC or how they're going to handle GHII: 80s Edition this summer.

I think it's worth the money, but I'm also stupid when it comes to money lol

The downloadable content might just put this game as a must depending on what they put out and how much it costs.

I like the cleaner graphics, but $90 might be a stopping point for some as of right now (depending on downloadable content) amounts to 10 extra songs, or something like that.

Also some people are reporting problems with the whammy bar. I am having about a 30% success rate using it with the x-plorer.

I hope that GH2: 80's Edition is released via DLC for the 360.

Just like TimmeH says, this game is well worth the money.

so that wasn't built into the game? I had never played before the 360, and half the time the bar doesn't work... I always thought it was just that some of the shorter long notes didn't use the whammy... good to know I have a defective guitar.

I've been trying for the last hour to get used to that orange button, I'm getting there but I still got a long ways to go. I actually passed two songs on hard though, so that's a start I guess.

I gotta say I like the speed alot more on Hard, it's just that orange button that's giving me troubles

Mine's defective too. I opened it up and tried the fix they have on joystiq.com but to no avail.

How much does a membership cost to that place? They always have bulk candy and stuff for way cheap. I've been thinking about getting a membership to that place for the longest time
