I really hope that the 80's Rock Band songs for the PS2 become downloadable for the 360 too.

Agreed. Especially since I have a feeling it's going to be mostly hair metal stuff that I'm not really interested in, it'd be nice to pick and choose which ones to play. Plus, it'd allow me to officially get rid of my GH stuff for the PS2(and probably the PS2 for that matter).

I really wish I didn't have to work tonight, I'm addicted all over again lol

Anyone else finding this game alot easier than the first two?

I know I've only been playing for an hour or so now, but after playing eight songs I already got seven five star ratings, with the only one not five star being Life Wasted which was a four star on my first time ever playing it.

It just seems weird because I rarely would ever get five stars in the first game

I'm not gonna argue though, I'm going to try to actually get past medium this time so the quicker I get through these songs the quicker I can get to that damn orange button

I think it is the HD graphics. The control seems tighter and everything is easier to see.

I grew up on Hair Metal Bands, so that collection is something that I want. If they could get the the game guitar to work on the PS3, it could be tempting.

I like some hair metal, but it's kinda hit or miss. I'd much rather just pick and choose the ones I like rather than pay $50 and have to sift through all of them.

That being said, I'm a sucker so if they aren't downloadable I'll probably be making one last PS2 purchase.

I'll buy everything they release as DLC, lol. I would love a current version, with more stuff on it like "dead." Maybe an acoustic version, with stuff from John Mayer, Ben Harper, stuff like that. The possibilities are truly endless. Hell, I'd love an all Allman Brothers version

Did they fix Beast and the Harlot for the 360? I remember playing the PS2 version and they like, completely left out the rhythm guitar stream and it sounded weird.

I just watched VH1's Top 40 Metal Songs...The whole time I was thinking how great Guitar Hero: Metal would be with these songs.

if you're talking about misirlou, what an awesome song. Just on medium, that game is a beast.

Eh? I think they use Bass instead of Rhythm for this game. If you mean for Lead, it's the exact same (according to the demo at Best Buy).

I'd fail Misirlou every time, except for one thing that I started doing for this song, H18, and Trogdor only (all have similarly fast notes, and Trogdor's is the worst)

I strum with the palm of my hand. I'm not capable of strumming that fast with my fingers (even alternating up and down), so that's what I do. And it works to the point that I can pass those songs (I haven't come close to holding a long combo on them, though).

Not conventional, but hey, if it works.....

Texas Flood, from GH1 had a similar part, too - and I can actually combo that section, unlike the GH2 ones.
