I started out on Practice mode. Did the tutorial, and practiced certain parts of songs. Now moving on to career mode on Easy. Easy is, well, easy. However, the game is an absolute blast. I love the covers, they sound amazing.

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
If they gave me my favorite guitar song of all time (and my favorite to attempt to play, naturally), Steve Vai's "For the Love of God", I could die a happy man.
Watch it on Youtube and imagine the damned fretwork required from the middle on...Comment

My head would explode if an Our Lady Peace song was ever added. Starseed has a wicked guitar play in it, perfect song for part 3. Make it happen!!!!!Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
My biggest issue with the Xbox 360 guitar is that I can't seem to activate the Star Power without fumbling around and missing notes. Is there another way to activate in besides 'select'?Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
What does select do? There's a button press for starpower?! I've played both PS2 games and now the 360 game and never knew that.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
Ok, when you are playing there are those notes with stars around them. If you hit them all in a row, you build up your meter, it's on the right above the Rock/Suck meter. When it gets half way full, you have starpower, and it doubles whatever point total you are getting at that time. So if you are on a X2 run, it turns to X4 for the short time until it runs out. That's the basic run down of it.Comment

Um, well...What does tilting the guitar to the ceiling do? I'm not understanding that part.

I had no idea you could use a button for this. Just get in a good "metal pose" and point the neck towards the skyActually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment
