Like I said earlier, for myself (after having tested the Speed code yesterday), I tried three songs on Expert, and got my three highest scores that I ever got on those songs. I think that somehow, with the notes more spaced out, I'm able to pick up what's actually being played better. Granted, the notes appear much faster, but if you're a 360 owner and using widescreen, I think the actual fretboard appears longer, meaning the notes will appear much earlier for you. Not sure though.

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
That is just crazy, I do agree that song has to be one of the easiest on Expert. I doubt that I could even pass it if I even was lucky to get that far. LOL!Last edited by CaptainZombie; 04-06-2007, 08:45 PM.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
That's not the easiest one, and it's also using a code to speed the notes up. Normally the notes come a bit slower, but are bunched closer together on some of the sections. This speeds up the scrolling and separates them a bit. It's easier for some people to see the note sequence when they're spread out like that if their reactions are uber-fast and don't have to look ahead to see the notes coming down. "Regular" Expert looks nothing like that. I don't think I could do that very well, and I've passed the regular Expert on the PS2 versions.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
So what are everyone's favorite songs in the game? I know some of us probably answered this in the PS2 thread, but there's a bunch of new players now.
Mine in no particular order:
Jessica
Crazy On You (opening riff is $$$)
Freebird (omgomgijustbeatitonexpert)
Sweet Child O'mine
Carry On Wayward Son
Trogdor (THATCHED ROOF COTTAGEEEEEEEES!)Comment

I really like all the new songs to the 360, to tell you the truth. Great adds, and I'm looking forward to the downloadable songs.Comment
