Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
I'm in the same boat...or was as of a few days ago. For me I did the tutorial, then did a whole career on easy. I would recommend that. Now I'm doing a career on medium. It's a lot of fun!PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
I also play like TCrouch and use the index finger for green and red on hard+. Sometimes, you'll find passages with a lot of intersparsed green and red notes, though, and for those I slide my hands down and use the middle finger for red. It gets messy, though, when they mix that in with orange notes. Then, I'm usually in trouble.
That's definately the best way to do it, though. Oh, and use the practice mode. Helps, a lot.Originally Posted by Briman123

Anybody using a USB extension with their guitar? I need more cord to reach my stage and just wonder if there are any problems using them.Comment

Re: 360 Guitar Hero Impressions
I can't wait to pick this up for my son. He said he wants it for his first communion which is 2 weeks away.
I swear I invented the air guitar in the late 70's when I was pretending to be Ted Nugent at some house parties I hosted in high school.
I hope Cat Scratch Fever is on here, of course, that's a mid 70's tune. This is all 80's, right?
I read in this thread Surrender was on here. Surrender is a mid to late 70's song by Cheap Trick, so, maybe CSF is in here. Crosses fingers.
Oh, by the way, I did say this game was for my son. lol.Comment

It's neat to see the different tactics people use. I try not to associate each color with a finger... maybe that's why my method works for me. I just go by the position of the notes, and basically know that my fingers are in one of two positions (Index to the far left, or pinky to the far right). Once I got comfortable with sliding between the two I smoked hard mode, and beat everything on expert pretty handily (except for Jordan... damn that song!).LET'S GO FLYERS, YANKEES, DOLPHINS!!!Comment
