I think that will be very useful for people who just want to pick this game up and are content at the level of there skill set.

Jessica might be my favorite song in the whole game....just a lot of fun to play.
Not an easy song by any stretch, though.

I can usually hold out until "And then Trogdor comes in the NIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!", which fortunately is the end of the song and after all the guitar playing is done. Then I crack up

The solo in that song is actually a real pain - the fastest repeating notes of any GH game to date - even faster than Misirlou (albeit much shorter)

I'm cruising through the game on Expert (by cruising through, I mean beating the songs, but not 5*ing them), and I've gotten up to the sixth tier (which got me "Dead!", which is the one song in particular I bought the game for). Hopefully RedOctane puts up some downloadable songs soon. Either way, I'm having just as much fun with this as the PS2 version.

Did anyone besides me who bought the game NOT get the ethernet port on the bottom of the guitar next to the USB port?

I have heard a lot of issues with the whammy bar, and I have had no problems. My ethernet port is actually next to the mic port, and I ordered from Red Octane.

Both of my ethernet jacks are right next to the mic jack. I haven't had any issues yet. Now my mic port acts kinda funcky at times where the person on the other end can't hear me at times.

Hell Medium is hard for me. I can 3* every song, with a few 4*, but I miss a lot of stuff. I'm just gonna keep playing Medium til I can 4 and 5* everything.

Dam fun though. I didn't know there was encores. When Gypsy Blue tore into "Shout at the Devil" I was pumped!

My favorite song so far is definitely "Message In a Bottle" on Medium. I find it so nice to just groove along to.

Now I just need to get myself an extra guitar for multiplayer.

The ecnores are very cool imo. Medium is just right for me, I think that I'll just keep on playing the game on Medium difficulty. I suck on Hard. I hope there are some codes to unlock the rest of the items in the shop since there is no way on god's green earth that I'll be able to unlock the rest of the stuff. I bought all the songs with the money that I made on Medium.

Does anyone know if more songs unlock when you beat Hard and Expert?

Just to talk to someone while you're playing I guess. Not really sure why you would since I know it would throw me off, but it's there just to be compliant with all other MS controllers. I use the wireless headset anyway.

I've come to the conclusion, that I enjoy medium, I like playing on medium, and will stay there. Maybe I'll venture into hard one day, but I just don't have fun on it. Why play something I'm not having fun on just to say I'm doing it? Seems "snobbish" to me.

A buddy of mine plays nothing but Expert, and loves it. Like Johnny does as well. But the difference is, both him and Johnny are good at expert and have fun playing it there. So it makes sense. As Johnny said earlier, easy bores him to tears, which is probably the same as expert/hard does to me. It's just one of those games we'll all be at different skill levels. I'd love to be able to put up scores like Johnny and Terry are putting up, but I know I never will, just not coordinated enough or something..LOL
