If that's the price of individual tracks then I'll live with it. I just need three or four songs with real guitar in them to go with the rest of the mellow setlist. Hopefully the tracks aren't more pop songs.

200 points is not too bad for individual songs if at that point we can pick and choose the ones we want instead of buying full albums.Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
I love the track list, but then again, I didn't carry a can of aerosol hairspray around in my pocket during the 80s.
I wish there were some more classic rock songs, but I can't wait to try out "Gimme Shelter", "Won't Get Fooled Again", "Train Kept A Rollin", and "Flirtin' With Disaster".Comment

- Aerosmith "Train Kept a Rollin'"*
- Molly Hatchet "Flirtin' With Disaster"
- Metallica "Enter Sandman"
- Queens of the Stone Age "Go With the Flow"
The rest of them don't interest me much.Comment

Only ones that I like off of this track list:
Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter"
Aerosmith "Train Kept a Rollin'"*
Boston "Foreplay/Long Time"
Mountain "Mississippi Queen" (cover) - I was happy until I heard it was a cover.
Bon Jovi "Wanted Dead or Alive"
Faith No More "Epic"
Metallica "Enter Sandman"
Stone Temple Pilots "Vasoline"
Smashing Pumpkins "Cherub Rock"
Soundgarden "Black Hole Sun" - Love Soundgarden, but a better song would have been "Rusty Cage" or "Jesus Christ Posse" imo
The Killers "When You Were Young"Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
LOL, there's going to be a million of these videos in a few weeks.
Guy brings up a good point, it's impossible to sing and play guitar at the same time, since they flow at different parts of the screen. So unless you have the song completely memorized, you're going to need 2 people.
Also, it's been spotted in Walmart's. Let the street breaking search begin.

Has Walmart been selling these yet from the reports that you heard?Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
With the game being officially released in a few weeks, I would like to know why there hasn't been a price announcement.
Despite the Canadian dollar being higher than the American dollar, I already have a feeling we will get shafted with a higher price.
I know I complained about the 360 guitar not being wireless earlier but I'm ready to cave in and buy the bundle so I can jam with the friends.
I got a nice stash of Microsoft points for Rock Band DLC.Comment

Are you referring to an american or canadian announcement? for about 2 months we have known the bundle will be 169 bucks.

I look forward very much to playing and singing at the same time. It's a new challenge. I already know the words to some of the songs and learning the ones for the others will be half the fun. I really wouldn't by this game if weren't for the microphone and the drums.Comment

Was wondering, how do you plug in two guitars, the mic, and the drums if the 360 only has 3 USB ports, or am I missing something?Comment
