Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
That's cool that the 360 GH guitar will work on Rock Band, but will the Rock Band guitar work on GH III? I'm getting GH 3 and RB for the PS3 and I want two guitars for GH III. I can wait until RB comes out and use it's guitar as my second GH III guitar if they are compatible.

And if you need someone to help ya', hit me up with a friend request, I'll be happy to assist.
Edit: You know what though, even though I have a PS3 I'm getting both of these for the 360 actually, so that doesn't really help you.Last edited by tanis38; 10-25-2007, 03:39 PM.Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
I can't decide if I want to get this game or not.
I hate the fact the 360 version comes with a wired guitar. I don't want to buy the package right now only to find out a wireless guitar will come out at the beginning of January (and I'm sure a wireless guitar will be coming out soon).
But even with that said, this game is so tempting..........Comment

A little more on BWT
Good vid in the article.
IGN: Is there any chance there would be an update released to allow online play in BWT?

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
Playing the demo of GHIII got me psyched for this game even more. While I will probably grab the stand alone disc of GHIII somewhere down the line, Rock Band will finally give me the experience that everyone else is having with Guitar Hero. On top of that, their world tour mode takes much more of the real band experience into account. Does anyone have a link of their most recent play list?Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
Thank God for the drums. If this were just a guitar game, I'd have to pass. Aside from Rush, Sabbath, Metallica and Maiden, there isn't a whole lot I'd be looking forward to. Having One be downloadable is almost worth the price of admission. I'm a little nervous about this mystery Metallica album. There is about a 50/50 chance that it's an album that I love or hate. It's kind of disappointing that there is almost no metal on this track list. There was tons on GH2. With drums, I could get into all of the moderate rock and alternative, but for expert levels it'd be nice to have some metal up there. Even the metal that's there is relatively easy. It's a big set list, so one real heavy song wouldn't have killed them. Hopefully they'll have it for download.
Just looked at GHIII's set list, and I like it MUCH better. There are more gems on there for shredders. bleh. That's a bummer. Just ain't right. Why'd Harmonix go with that easy listening setlist? argh.
On the bright side, since I don't play drums, even the easy songs will be challenging on expert in Rock Band. The cooperative elements will make it worth it, even though the bulk of the list is simple power chord rubbish and strumming. That's the great thing about Rock Band. If I'm not feeling a song on guitar, there is always the drums and coop factor, which overrides the personal shredding challenges.Last edited by Bornindamecca; 10-28-2007, 04:48 PM.Comment

Re: Harmonix's Next Game Revealed...Rock Band
One of the early vids of this game showed the Ramones' "Rockaway Beach" on the game, but it's not on the setlist. Maybe it is planned DLC, I hope so, it's one of my favorite songs.
