My guitar is defective i called best buy they said bring it back and pick up another one so right after i write this i am headed there for a replacement(whole bundle)try to call where you got it from and see if they will take it back. If they don't call or go online EA support its on that red paper you get in the box

Even my Kmart had like 6 of these sitting around. I think it has to do with #1 the pricing is scaring people away and #2 where the hell are the ads showing people playing the game. I was out shopping on Black Friday and every where I went parents and teens were buying Guitar Hero 2 and 3 bundles. I think EA screwed up releasing this game during the holiday season against much cheaper alternatives. I think Guitar Hero 2 and 3 will be the winner this holiday season.

You can get Guitar Hero 2 for 360 at some places for $59.99 with the guitar.....probably not enough to place a huge dent into RB sales.

WHO THE HELL CARES? We all have a great game. Once the word gets out (like guitar hero 1) you probubly won't be able to find one in a store. I don't get why people here are going to store and counting boxes like your job is on the line. Lets get back to more impressions and less box counting.

I played a demo at Best Buy and didn't like the guitar at all. I was playing Say it Ain't So on Medium, and it seemed really easy, and I was doing great, but then the strat on it stopped working so I couldn't hit anything. When I pick this up, I'll probably just stick with the Guitar Hero guitar.

The Rock Band guitar is cheap and not very good. Poorly put together and has lower quality parts (especially the strum bar - it's flimsy, doesn't click or kick back like the GH guitar). I don't know anyone who likes it.

my only problem is that the drums sound louder in real life than the drums in the game even when i have my tv on loud........meaning the tapping of these drums sounds louder like cowbells being hit instead of the drums in the game......

has anyone been able to get the code working to unlock the songs? id like to unlock them to practice and just have for quick play if me and my buddies wanna just do a song here and there.......

I like the fact that it doesn't click on every note. From the the very first time I played GH I thought the clicking the guitar made was the biggest drawback of the game.

My only problem with the RB guitar is hitting overdrive when i want to. It just doesn't respond sometimes.

You need to enter that at the very first screen, where it says "Rock Band" in huge letters and "Press Start" below it.

Once you go past that screen, you won't be able to enter the code until you reboot the game.

Ok, not sure what that was about. But I did go to the store, counted boxes, left and came to this forum to post about it....

On to the impressions now... played at Best Buy. A blast. I do not like the new guitar at all. Feels like one of my daughters cheap Babie guitar. The drums are a blast though. Maaaannn ! I did not get a chance to sing. Not sure I want to. Very fun game. I thank this game, Guitar Hero and the Wii for my wife and family to stop calling me a nerd for playing videogames. They want to play these games more than me.
I was on the fence about this game after reading some impressions here about repeating songs and some of the problems with the parts but after playing the game, I had to get it. Me and my friends split the cost so I picked it up at Kmart. Cannot not wait to play w/my wife and 2 daughters.

My only problem with the RB guitar is hitting overdrive when i want to. It just doesn't respond sometimes

Use the back button it works also.
