Just wanted to get your guy's opinion. Is the entire boston pack worth it. Really the only song I know is more than a feeling and I like the song but don't know much about the other songs. With all the songs coming out I got to be a little selective about which ones I get.....Thanks!

My opinion is perhaps a bit skewed as I am a big Boston fan and have been since the late 70's. What you would essesntially be getting with the six-song pack is Boston's entire first album (an 8 track record) which was released in 1976 minus one song. ("Foreplay/Long Time" is already included in the game and "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" would stand as the lone omission.)

Of the six new tracks, you are probably familiar with
"More Than A Feeling" and "Piece Of Mind" as they were released as singles and still receive substantial airplay on the few AOR stations across the U.S.

"Smokin" and "Rock And Roll Band" IMO are the two "gems" of the pack. I have already had a blast with these two alone.

"Hitch A Ride" and "Something About You" are a little softer. "Hitch..." moreso than "Something..." but I would classify neither as a ballad.

One thing that I have come to realize is that all 7 Boston songs are vocally challenging due in part to the late Brad Delp's tremendous range.

I need some new Metal or Hardcore songs. Something with fast riffs on guitar, guitar hero 2 had it to extent. Like I've said before, I'm sick of the old bands they put as DLC. Thrash music is just a little too chaotic for me though.

If I were you, I'd really give the At the Gates song a shot.

I 5-starred all of them on the first try, except for Smokin' ... that song made me it's *****. I was about 1,000 points short of 4-starring it.

Nothing to see here - (DLC announcement on Monday) <hr style="color: rgb(102, 102, 102);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> Due to circumstances beyond my control we won't be announcing next week's DLC until Monday afternoon. Probably around 2... maybe earlier, maybe later... but I am aiming for 2. That's eastern time, post meridiem.
