Yeah, I'm glad I finally have a job for the summer. I'll probably be getting around 6-8 songs over the next two weeks

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion
I just downloaded all of the DLC for the first time since Jimmy Buffett/Disturbed. I've only played Tell Me Baby so far on hard guitar and it was really fun.WUSTLComment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion
Here are my thoughts:
Tell Me Baby: Really fun song, least challenging of the four. If you like the song, get it; if the song isn't your cup of tea I would not suggest buying it.
Snow (Hey Oh): EXTREMELY CHALLENGING, I started hard guitar a week and am almost done with solo tour, I had to do the song on medium. I only made it 20% through my first run on hard. If you're up for a challenge or like the song, get it.
Closer to the Heart: More challenging than Tell Me Baby, but less challenging than Snow and Working Man. I absolutely love this song, if you like it at all I suggest getting it.
Working Man: I don't own the cover, but from what I hear it is more challenging and definitely for the $2.

I guess no one on here really cares, but this is a good review.

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion
For those of you have the wired Explorer guitar, I have a question. This is for the 360
The Explorer guitar I have (came packaged with GHII) is not wanting to connect any longer. This applies to the GH games as well.
Am I missing something? I assume there is compatibility with my Explorer and GHII, GHII, GHA, and RB. It has worked with all 4 in the past.
Earlier today, I noticed that if my 360 is already on and I plug in and try to activate the guitar (pressing XBOX button) there is absolutely no response.
However, if the guitar was already plugged into my 360 when I turn the console on, the green light indicator lights up and I am good to go.
Now, however, that doesn't even work.
Any ideas? The wired guitars have no battery compartment. I have tried multiple cables. (USB to round).
I own the Wireless Les Paul and play it most often. (I had to use the folded paper trick to tighten the neck as my Yellow and Red buttons were a little unresponsive). I prefer the Explorer over the (what is now my 3rd) RB guitar as a second guitar.Last edited by HiJumpr111; 07-08-2008, 10:38 PM.Congratulations BUTLER BULL DOGS!

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion
About a month and ten days ago I Train Kept A Rollin' stumped me on easy. Tonight, or this morning, I beat it on hard. Flirtin' With Disaster's solo was incredibly difficult. I am very ecstatic right now. I don't think I'll ever be able to beat it on expert, but I might try sometime.
Next up, conquering Snow on hard, that riff is hard.WUSTLComment

Is Snow ((Hey OH)) worth it to get? Are they gunna stop DLC for RB1 once RB2 comes out?Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion
I think in the IGN report, it said that the drum pedal for Rock Band 2 would be made of metal, so there shouldn't be any concerns with it snapping.Xbox Live Gamertag: MizzouBrentComment
