This is so freaking sweet...

It's a remix of all songs in Rock Band.

"We Care A Lot" followed by the intro to "Snow". That's incredible.

Well, I had my first Rock Band party last night. I took the 360 and all the RB stuff over to someone's house and hooked it up. Started with me on guitar and friend on drums. We quickly added a bass player. Then I moved over to vocals and that's where things really took off. I would highly recommend doing some Boston to break the ice a little bit.

Pretty soon everyone was switching off at singing and I became the main drummer, playing on medium (I'm not that good). Most everyone struggled with the drums on easy due to either lack of rhythm or too many margaritas. The night ended with an "all chick band" attempting Enter Sandman after a night of throwing back Margaritas. One singer, one bass player, one guitar player, and two people trying to play drums at the same time. Hilarity ensued.

I love this game.

No, I had never downloaded the Buffet pack. I think they were all in the mood for something a little more upbeat anyway, so it was all good. They also played "Wanted Dead or Alive" and the singer forgot to sing into the mic for the first couple phrases.

Nope. 3 of the 7 songs are already on Harmonix games so I am just going to wait for the videos first.

But all three of those were covers.

I think the charts, at the very least, will be slightly different then what we currently have.

Still, with the amazing DLC that is on the horizon, it is hard for me to shell out money again for the same songs, covers or not. Unless the cover is just awful, which the 3 aren't, it will be tough for me to rebuy. I am still going to check out the videos to make sure.

I understand. There's going to be a ton of great DLC in the next few months. It could become costly.

I fully expect the DLC between now and GHWT release to be insanely good. Make people think twice about purchasing it, when we get so much great DLC every week.

Totally agree.

I am a DLC whore and I am very grateful, at this point, I only regret "Roam" and a couple of the NIN songs.

But with these two bad boys competing in the near future, we are going to have an awesome windfall of DLC coming our way. So I am just going to be a little smarter on what I buy. Going to check out the videos now....
