Well, i don't know what a dongle is but there is this small pick shaped thing that you plug into the usb port on the ps3 that is a sensor for the guitar.

GH3 is the best option if: you are really good at the game, and need to play Raining Blood and TTFTTF on Expert for a challenge. For people who are really good, both games really only have about five songs that are challenging on Expert. Also, if you already have GHII. People don't talk about it because it's older, but if you don't have it, you might find it to be one of the best games you could buy at that value. Aside from the ability to break your opponent's string and online play, the game is pretty much the same. I still find myself going back to that game to play a few of the tracks there.

When I was talking about the singing in RB, I was actually thinking more of your GF singing, rather than yourself since that's the easiest way in for most of the females I know.

I don't know what kind of guitar player you are but it goes like this: if you play mostly chords, the game isn't much easier for your than anyone else. If you play a bendy bluesy style, same thing. If you play a lot of fragments and alternate picking/down stroking, the game will be MUCH easier for you than the average bear once you're used to the guitar toy. People go back and forth about which game is harder, but honestly I think they both only have about five songs apiece that maintain any kind of challenge, if that many.

Thanks for the reply, it was in the box but surrounded by peanuts so it was next to impossible to find. No strap but I guess I can make do.

Free song for the PS3 this afternoon, some God of War II theme. I never played that game, but they have a vid of it on the Playstation Blog with views of the note charts and it looks fun. I like free stuff

I didn't think it could be done. 100% TTFAF on Expert.

I can say with all certainty that is not fake. Though I still think to this day it's impossible.

I know those two statements contradict each other. I'm about as shaky as that camera guy right now. It's like seeing your dog moonwalk.

Did it with hyperspeed...doesn't bother me...but that merit is debatable to many GH'ers.

That vid's gross. In response to the discussion on the previous page, I own both GH3 and RB and find RB a better in experience in everyway, with any number of people including solo.

Uh, wow! That song moved FAST! How is that even possible? And what is hyper-speed in GH3? Is that a cheat or something?

You can activate hyperspeed in the cheats menu. It makes the notes scroll faster, so essentially it spaces them out more and makes the note charts a bit easier to read. Seriously though, I don't care what "cheat" you're using, anyone who can FC this song is a stud.

I thought someone would do it eventually. I still say a Jordan 100% is impossible, though.

Type "Jordan 95%" on YouTube. This guy looks amazing... he may have a shot at 100% someday.

For what it's worth, there are supposed to be a total of 5 DLC packs released this month.

I finally got this game yesterday and beat easy last night. I could beat medium today, but my fingers are numb from playing too much.

I want to know if hard and expert get easier after playing easy and medium for a while. I tried to practice a few in hard, and they seemed impossible.
