Yes, all 3 are masters from what I've heard.

Yea, I just youtubed them and they all were, the only one that sounded weird was Jukebox Hero, but thats because I couldn't find any in good quality. I'm so glad the journey one is a master track.

My strum bar on the wireless les paul broke today. It won't register anymore when I strum down, but strumming up works still. What can I do to fix this? Is buying a new guitar controller the only alternative? I've only had the game for about 2 months.

The Guitar has a 60 day warranty from Red Octane. I was able to get them to agree to cover me on my gh2 explorer that was about 15 days over the 60.

The have agreed to replace it, but I got it for Christmas and don't have a receipt to provide. I left a message for them to call me, and I guess I'll email them too and we'll see what happens.

I tried 'Anyway You Want It' and 'Piece Of Mind' on both Medium and Hard and they play great!

For a moment I though I was back in high school with my mullet flowing freely down my neck.

I finally got up to Hard, but I'm stuck on 3's & 7's and Knights of Cydonia...freaking ridiculous.

I was having trouble with 3's & 7s for awhile. I finally beat 3 of the 4 songs in that set-list yesterday, though. Going back and 5 star'ing the easier songs really helps a lot.

Couple of questions here. Im contemplating getting either GH3 or Rock Band. Id like to get both and minimize my costs, hence the questions.

First off, is one system better than the other? (i have PS3 and 360)

Is GH guitar compatible with RB? Is RB guitar compatible with GH? Id obvioulsy like to only buy one guitar and use for both.

If i get GH 3, can i buy just GH2 or Gh 80's and use the same guitar? Is it backwards compatible (both software and hardware?)

Ultimately id like to buy RB and then just buy game for GH3, and GH 80's, is that possible?

-I only have GH3/RB for the 360, so I wouldn't be able to help with how it is on the 360.

-RB is not compatible with GH but the GH guitars are compatible with RB.

-If you get GH3 for the 360, then you could use the same guitar for GH2, you'd just have to buy the game. The GH2 guitar works for both GH3 and RB. If you have a PS3 that is back compat with ps2 games, they will work, but you have to get some sort of adapter for the guitars to work, not sure what that is though.

The version of "Jukebox Hero" in the classic pack does not sound like the original recording to me. Does it sound odd to anyone else?

I thought the exact same thing, I have the original recording of Jukebox Hero and Lou Graham screams way harder on it. Maybe Lou went back in the studio and recorded it for GH or something. I've dug up some more info with people feeling the same way:

"Although this is a master track, it may not be the version everyone's familiar with -- the key is actually slightly lower than the single version (that appears on the "Records" greatest hits CD), and has a different solo. It's a shame, because it's a great song and this version is missing some of its energy."

I agree with this guy. Either way its still pretty fun, and one of my fav Foreigner songs.

The different solo on it kind of pisses me off. I think I actually prefer the version on RB, which of course is a cover. LOL how's that for irony?
