          Any tips?
You can also run to those Enclave eyes to help you out early on. They will help you attack whats attacking you. Use VATS as much as you can too.

              Nope it was in Megaton.

The theme changes your room and gives you clothes in the theme you picked on the shelf.

Is this game "plasma safe" or is there logos or maps that sit all the time in a corner that could possibly cause burn in?

I am now picking locks with success...well easy ones. I even hacked my first terminal. This game is taking away all my sleep.

Had a lot of fun at the super market last night!

Got a question for you PS3 guys. I have a friend at work with it. He says that he can't get V.A.T.S. to come up. Says he's supposed to hit R3? I don't have a PS3 so I don't know what to tell him. He says it never comes up.

Is he doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

He has to use the R2 button.

Last night I played about 2 hours total and basically all I did was explore...and I didn't get bored at all. Even when doing nothing there's a sense of nervousness as you never know "what's just past that rock". This will probably be my last visit to this thread until I finish the game. Not so much as close calls with spoilers etc.. but I'd rather just play the game and see what I see when it's my time to see it. Also even though there may be things I don't see the first go around, that just adds to the replayability and gives a good play the second play though.

                        Have fun guys.

I agree. I've never been so nervous with a videogame before. I wasn't expecting that. I actually dread opening the gates to Megaton. It's scary out there!

I'm about 4 hours into the game and so far so good....I finally realized that you can use the world map to travel to places you explored. I was getting worried that I would have to walk every where! I have no idea what RADS does to you... I know it gives you radiation, but what are the ill effects? What is everyone putting their points into? I have put a lot of points into energy weapons, thinking these would be the better weapons late game, but the only one I have so far is the plasma pistol and it blows.

I've been putting most of my points into my 3 tagged skills, small guns, lockpicking, and speech. I spread a few others around to explosives, sneak, etc.

Just simple things like what repairing weapons, Rad, Radpacks, different options I have and did not know before tht's all. Kinda got a better feel for what I should be doing now. Reading the manual after playing a few hours has helped my understanding of the game. Trial & Error just was not cutting it for me.
