Re: Fallout 3
no doubt they are both fantastic games. oblivion was more fulfilling as a character building game and having tons of quests, however I believe fallout has more replay value which is very strange.
I liked hte repair system in oblivion more too. and the property owning - I wish they crammed more crap into fallout actually. But seeing raiders running over a hill in the distance is much more immersive than a single brown bear that you have to run away from because your high-level character can't deal with it anymore w/o using potions and spells etc.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Fallout 3 The Pitt - First Details Revealed
Even if the The Pitt, the next DLC for Fallout 3, has been delayed a month, new info has arisen for this expansion. We knew that The Pitt will take gamers to the industrial raider town of the same name, located in the remains of Pittsburgh.
But the latest issue of U.K. Official Xbox 360 Magazine has revealed new details of the location and features of this level. Although Pittsburgh was not hit directly by an atomic bomb, the surrounding water became radiated making the people change in bad ways. As a result, Pittsburgh's industrial district is an abandoned steel yard divided into two major areas: the downtown, occupied by slaves; and the Haven, a zone ruled by their masters. Apparently The Pitt will be accessed via underground railroad.
The magazine also revealed the first info on what will players will have to do in The Pitt. A new major quest will have players taking on the role of a slave who must investigate if rumors of a cure for mutation has been found by no other than the Raiders boss.
One screenshot in the article also revealed the "Auto Axe" weapon, which features circular blades on some sort of motor that you swing.
The Pitt will be released in March 2009 on Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fallout 3
Finished Anchorage...it was fun, though completely linear...I hope the next ones have more of a variety, giving you different quests for different things, etc.
I'd love a DLC that just added 10-20 minor quests to find on the main map though, so I'm weird.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Fallout 3
My last save point is inside the Jefferson Memorial Tundra at the end of the game. I assume I'm screwed from using that character for the DLC content correct? The doors are all locked.
I already started a new game but I had that character up to 20th level with the Good Mutant as my sidekick and tons of cool weapons.GT: Herkyalert

Re: Fallout 3
Anyone else gotten the random encounter with the 'Firelance' Alien Blaster? I just got it in Rocktopolis after there was a big explosion in the sky, followed by alien power cells dropping all over the place, and the Firelance landing in the bushes. It looks exactly the same as the Alien Blaster, but has a fire damage for 5 sec. as well, and if you score a critical hit on someone, they burst into flames! Freakin awesome.Comment

Anyone know how to get to the National Guard Depot? I got all of the Keller holotapes, and they get me into the Depot. I know where the depot is, but when I make a marker on my map, it doesn't make a path for me. I've hit a few dead ends now, and i'm getting frustrated just trying to get to the Depot.Comment
