It's funny because when your starting out you see one super mutant and you crap your pants (figuratively speaking of course ) and have a serious fight on your hands. Once you have leveled up a fair way and have good armour and weapons you'll think nothing of walking into the middle of a group of 3 of them and kicking some ***.

I cannot wait. Seriously, fighting these bastards with a hunting/assault rifle and combat armor is scary. I had to take one down with the Chinese sword. Hard has hell as well.

...Fort Consantine toward the Abandoned car fort bridge, theres was a small super mutant camp at the base of a small hill right next to it.

I was dead from radiation in about 3 steps.

Just finished the game. Loved it. Looked at the achievements and it looks like I missed a ton of missions. Plus I never got to level 20. I'm going to take a small break and then start again EVIL.

Did you guys find the crashed alien spacecraft with the dead alien and his cool laser gun. That gun was the ****. The only problem of course, was that there was no way to get more ammo for it, so I only used it sparingly.

that gun is amazing...i like the limited ammo though...game would be too easy otherwise

Can someone tell me the trick to getting to the Galaxy Radio and National Archive buildings? I was wandering all over the wastland and kept hitting dead ends over and over again. Is there a certain subway station I need to venture through?

The only locations I have on my map in the Mall area are Rivet City, Jefferson Memorial (can you actually see the statue there or is it just underground stuff?), some Russian drinker's place (Dozy's or something), and Grayditch.

you're too far south, swinging around the perimeter and get to the NW end of DC proper. One of the subway stations works its way to the "chevy chase" station and the GNR radio station building. I'd have to turn on the game to tell you to how to get to the national archives, though i'm pretty sure its near Grayditch outside the river around DC. Hoard those "pre-war books" you find once in a while, you get caps for them from someone inside the archives.

I need help finding the Rangers who are apparently holed up under attack somewhere over on the right (east) side of the map.

I heard them on the radio putting out a distress call and found their leader unconcious in the doctors room with the ghouls in the underworld. I can't revive her because it says i need medical at 100 (mine is in the 20's) and the doctor there says she is too fragile to wake.

I have tried travelling to the site on the map but i have walked for over an hour in both directions and am constantly blocked off by rubble and fences etc?

Any idea's how to get there?

It's probably easiest to reach by entering Anacostia Metro Station at Anacostia Crossing (just north Rivet City), exit at Seward Square (straight east, don't go down to the tracks) and take the short walk to the north.

I think the best phrase describing this game is value for money. There is just so much work that's been put into it that you could literally spend hundreds of hours exploring everything. I've already put 35 hours into it and i'm nowhere near done and i can definetley see myself playing through it again as an evil character to see how different the outcomes could be....
