I'll pop it in again in the next week or so too. Same with me, but luckily the deluge of games is slowing/stopping soon, so I'll finally be able to beat this and run a new guy.

I haven't touched those games because of this one. Haven't even popped Gears into my XBox yet.

I'm sorry, what? That avatar always takes the focus away from your posts. Who is that? Dayum...Anyway, I just started this game earlier today, and I'm in the same boat as you. I'll have to pay for this great game. Games like this where you customize your character always take me forever, because I can't make up my mind.

Surprised to see nobody posted this yet.

Fallout 3 DLC, Mod Tools Detailed and Dated

Developer Bethesda today revealed the first details of the "substantial" PC and Xbox 360-exclusive downloadable content for Fallout 3, including an episode that takes place after the main story concludes, and issued word of a mod kit for PC users.

The mod toolset, dubbed G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit), will arrive as a free download for PC users in December. "Users can create, modify, and edit any data for use with Fallout 3, from building landscapes, towns, and locations to writing dialogue, creating characters, weapons, creatures, and more," wrote Bethesda.

Three pieces of game-expanding downloadable content were announced for PC and Xbox 360 users, set to arrive on a monthly basis beginning in January. No price point was specified, though Bethesda offered the following descriptions:
                • Operation: Anchorage
Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe - the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. An action-packed battle scheduled for release in January.
                • The Pitt
Journey to the industrial raider town called The Pitt, located in the remains of Pittsburgh. Choose your side. Scheduled for release in February.
                • Broken Steel
Join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Continues the adventure past the main quest. Scheduled for release in March.
                More

“For all of our DLC, I had mentioned before that we looking to do things for ‘Fallout 3′ that are similar in size/scope to what we did for [the $10 "Oblivion" expansion pack] Knights of the Nine. Likewise, you can expect the ‘Fallout 3′ DLC to work the way our DLC worked for ‘Oblivion’ where it adds into your game, whether it’s an existing character or a new game. So that’s [a] decent approximation as far as some of the questions you’re asking.

“As far as how you get into it and all of that, we’ll release more details on all of this going forward, starting obviously with [January add-on] Operation: Anchorage and what it’s about, what you’ll be doing, etc.”

Can it really be that different from present-day Pittsburgh?

Wow, sounds more creative than the average DLC. I may have to buy a pc copy to get some of the mods Mods transformed oblivion from a good game to a great game on the pc.

this was revealed a while ago maybe as far back as E3 - Microsoft secured the exclusive DLC - probably paid Bethesda handsomely for it.

Bethesda is so awesome, so many times in this game there were situations that matched exactly what I want out of a videogame. Kind of like 'if i were in charge' moments where the result would be exactly what I would have asked for.
