The reviews have the PS3 version slightly inferior to the 360's. That's disappointing. I have a PS3.

Yeah, the main reason was that the DLC is exclusive to 360 I think and the PS3 had the problem where it froze when friends signed on.

Seriously, I haven't played this game. I own a PS3, but I was told it has some hiccups on the PS3 version. Not runnig as smooth as the 360's and maybe not looking as good? I'm kind of interested, but I don't want to buy an inferrior version.

I dont know what the deal is with ps3 and Bethesda but even Oblivion didnt play all that well on ps3, wasn't nearly as fluid as the 360 was.

I put 70+ hours on the PS3 version, and besides the hiccup when you're friends logged in which is now patched, I didn't encounter any framerate issues or any other problems. It might not be quite as silky smooth as other versions (especially on a good PC), but it is still a beautiful and amazing game. Wish it was getting the DLC, but you can't always get what you want.

All in all, don't stay away from it on the PS3 if that is the only way for you to play.

I saw something pretty interesting while playing today. I was exploring some sites when I saw 2 Enclave Helocopters above me, I watched them to see where they were going to land then all of a sudden they both exploded in Mid Air. i am dumbfounded by this, thoughts?

Loving the game so far...even if I'm only five hours or so in...but dammit, they need bug testers at Bethesda BAD!!!

Earlier I was in Megaton and all of a sudden my guy starts shooting. I change weapons, so now he's constantly punching. Needless to say the townspeople hate me and I'm running away, punching as I go. I get out of town, fast travel somewhere else...and I'm STILL ******* punching and attacking constantly. I reboot the save, and the douche is still a punching freak.

Thankfully when I rebooted the game it was fine, but damn, what a pain in the ***!

When will a patch be released for this bloody great and damn frustrating game!?

That sounds like a controller issue, not a game issue...I've never ever had that happen to me, for what it's worth...

No, I had the same thing happen to me once. A quick reload of the game fixed it.

Gotcha...just hadn't heard much in this thread about it, and I remember the analog stick issues with systems in general (if you turn a system on with the stick pressed then it screws things up) and thought maybe somehow the controller got funky.

This doesn't have to do with your post but i just wanted to get your attention, but a couple days ago i was playing left 4 dead with my friends online and someone with a gamertag mgoblue2 joined in and i thought it was you. I raced over to my computer and found your gamertag but it wasn't the same. So pretty much to sum this up i found someone with a gamertag that is very close to yours.

Now back to the game. I'm currently 6 or 7 hours into the game and am doing the job for the gate keeper kid at Little lamplight going to vault 86. I just want to know how much longer till i get my dog and when i can buy houses and stuff.

I have a gift certificate to BestBuy and I'm seriously contemplating using it for this game.
However, I seem to be getting bored of FPS's.

I know this game is more RPG than FPS, but do you think it will still hold my interest?
Is this game closer to Mass Effect than Oblivion?

I'd like to rent it first, but the only place that carries it is Block Buster and it's $10 just to rent a stinking game.
