Is there an ETA for Broken Steel yet? Only dates I can find state that it should be out already, so they are obviously dated.

Re: Fallout 3
Just started playing this yesterday,
My buddy lent it too me knowing I dug the Elder Scroll games so much but haven't been much of a shooter guy.
I am enjoying it alot but despite the gameplay being so similiar to Oblivion, the tone/enviorment will probably wear on me after a time.Comment

Re: Fallout 3
A buddy just sent me this about another fallout game:
Fallout: New Vegas announced
PALGN News | New RPG coming to PC, 360 and PS3.
Bethesda has taken the wraps off of a new entry into the illustrious Fallout series, currently dubbed New Vegas.
The announcement was just made at a press conference in London, where it was revealed that development duties would be handled by Obsidian, who previously worked on Knights of the Old Republic II. The game will be surfacing on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at some time in 2010.
As you would expect, Bethesda hasn't spilled many more beans at this point in time. We do know that New Vegas won't be a direct sequel to Fallout 3, though it will take part in the familiar universe. That, and it definitely will be an RPG.
More as it comes.Comment

Re: Fallout 3
So here I am, playing through for a second time with a good guy, with only the last main quest mission remaining. I figure i'll just hold out for Broken Steel and finish with this game. Well, i'm thinking about starting yet ANOTHER playthrough as a bad guy once again, as the first playthrough as a baddy, I was just learning the game, and missed a lot of small things I didn't during my good playthrough. I can't believe that with games like MLB09 and Fable II that I still have to beat, i'm thinking about starting up another game of Fallout. Just a testament to how much of a true, true classic this game is. As far as i'm concerned, after 100 hours of combined playthrough with more to come, this is likely the best game I have ever played, closely followed by Oblivion.
Speaking of which, with what they learned going from Oblivion to Fallout, I can't wait for a potential new entry into the Elder Scrolls series!Comment

Re: Fallout 3
It's dangerous playing both at once...I'm doing that, and it's so hard to put them down.Comment

Re: Fallout 3
My thoughts exactly. I've put over 50 hours into a play through as a good guy and can't wait to get my game back from a friend so i can play through as a bad guy as well.Comment

Re: Fallout 3
Just picked this up, This game is amazing so far but I suck lol. I am currently in Megaton still doing the side quest where I deliver Luci's message. Well everytime I go to do that I run into a couple Raiders and always die. I try to use vats but all the percentages are very low therefore I never kill them. And after a few shots I always die.
Any tips for me? I'm trying to be as stealth as possible but I always get spotted.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment
