I'm one of the biggest Halo fanboys around, but COD 4 just might take the crown this year. I don't even want to watch anymore videos or previews or anything because it's still so far away.

Yes, I think it has a good shot. Unitl the next RB6 comes out =)

Halo 3 will be a favorite as well. I know it's a mix bag here, some love it and some hate it. To me, it gave me countless hours of random play on live. Most games I don't like to play random people, but with Halo, it didn't matter ( of course I couldn't really play the team based games, because some people are just idiots) but I could hop on any time, day or night and have a few hours of fun.

With already 1 million pre-orders for Halo 3 sold, I doubt it. The fan base for it is too large.

and Dookie, I'm in the same boat. I played Halo 2 online all the time, still do as a matter of fact, and I'll likely be switching back and forth between these two games.

If you've been hankering for you shot at the Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta, your wait may be at an end. First of all, the beta has been spotted on the official Xbox Live Maretplace ticker. What's more, the listing declares that the beta is due to come out today. If you prefer a little more proof than an Xbox.com listing (and we wouldn't blame you if you do), Robert Bowling (GT: fourzerotwo), a community manager for Infinity Ward, was playing the beta at the time of this posting. We haven't received any sort of notification from CharlieOscarDelta.com, so we're assuming the beta hasn't started just yet. Still, if Infinity Ward is on Live testing the beta, it can't be too long, can it? Check out a screen cap of Bowling's gamercard after the break.
