Flame me now, but I'm not really impressed with it. I like it, it's a fun FPS, but it doesn't feel any different than other first person shooters. I think it'll be a fun game with a group of OS'ers for sure, but against randoms, 2 games and I was tired of their ****. And what's with the ranked up weapons? An automatic sniper rifle? The dude had 31 kills and zero deaths in my game earlier.

Graphics are simply amazing, no question there. The sound, especially in 5.1, is just jaw dropping. But the core of the game, feels like another FPS.

Oh, and what's up with the knife?! One slash, dead. Interesting.

That being said, the game didn't hurt or help my expectations of it, I'm still expecting a modern COD2, and that's not a bad thing. Just don't feel this is the end all be all of FPS.

Could also be me playing Warhawk yesterday for a few hours as well.

I had the same feeling after playing some the other day. I went back and played more of the objective games where there are no respawns and had a lot more fun. Less run and gun and knife play. Less of the high pitched potty mouths too. I agree on the weapons, if you get in a room as a noob against leveled up guys, you are sol.

yeah the m21 is too good and most of the starting weapons aren't that good.

But you can rank up pretty fast once you get the hang of the game.

You had to sign into the Beta part of the site, and submit a request. Just being on the forums didn't do it. Sorry.

No worries, with Madden, Bioshock, and now possibly WarHawk. I think I'll have enough to play til the full version comes out.
