Here is what was said in the OPM article.

OPM: On PS3 you've got a guarantee that every machine is going to have a hard drive and, with Blu-ray you've got plenty of storage, wheeas on Xbox 360 there's no guarantee of a hard drive and you're working with the DVD format. Does that create limitations?

DH: Yep. To be honest with you we haven't solved all those riddles yet. Both of them have enormous challenges. Again that's been the advantage of having the guys at San Diego who are feakeshly clever and full-time dedicated to us, but we're not there with either (format) yet. There are problems with both, but both have there own particular pleasures and pains.

I doubt it. XBOX360 and the PS3 are both very powerful missions and I refuse to believe at this point of their system's life cycle that Rockstar has managed to be limited with one of the systems.

Are you kidding? The guys at Kush already filled up their MLB 2K7 disc (I remember reading that somewhere). The thing that they have to do now is be smart and find areas where they can compress, etc. It's tricky, but they are really good at doing those kinds of things.

Disc space alone is a limitation as the blu-ray format gives rockstar alot more flexibility than what the 360 has with dvd and the powerful cell processor is another benefit. I think developers are starting to see the advantages of the PS3 and it's potential.

I've read that with the HD, Rockstar is able to stream more things like blowing street debris and random little occurances within the environment.

The potential is definitely there for the PS3 to be the king of consoles, it's just Sony is ****ing up when it comes to pricing, exclusives, and broken promises.

Now that Kutaragi is out of the picture, maybe the PS3 will begin to reach it's potential. I haven't been as excited for a console in a long time.

Well the price you know will come down as for exclusives I feel they still have alot left with Lair, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Killzone 2, Socom and God Of War just to name a few. One of the positives about the PS3 to me has been the systems reliabilty as their has not been alot of instances of breakdowns like the 360 had when it first came out.

If anything, there's going to be a memory limitation of the PS3.

One of the positives about the PS3 to me has been the systems reliabilty as their has not been alot of instances of breakdowns like the 360 had when it first came out.
