Re: Splinter Cell Conviction (360 & PC)
...and holy ****.
That same friend and I just tried the "Last Stand" game-type. On easy.
Couldn't get past round 14. Apparently there are 20. Holy **** that is hard...and it was only on easy. I can't even imagine what Realistic would be like in that mode. Ridiculous.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell Conviction (360 & PC)
Played this split-screen with a friend last night, and it truly is a very awesome Co-op experience. Probably the best.
Then i started playing single player and.. damn, its awesome. Did not expect the story and graphics and gameplay to be this great.
Definitely has that Max Payne feel to the story. Its a Kick-*** game."I'm addicted to Video Games, and i chase it with a little OS." -Winston ChurchillComment

I'm definitely going back through the campaign on realistic when I finish. What's the biggest difference between that and normal? I would imagine Sam dies much easier.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell Conviction (360 & PC)
It really improves the difficulty without feeling cheap. I've never died/been knocked down so much in a videogame and never once swore or felt cheated.
And EG - I'm in. Want to try the co-op campaign or are you looking to do the other modes?Comment

Re: Splinter Cell Conviction (360 & PC)
after finishing (3rd day about 7 hours) I'm more convinced this is a good rental. It's missing so many things I liked about the original splinter cell...the credits are also almost 5% of the gameplay time!
I'm going to try some of the other modes...but ... i dunno, some of the level design was bad too. The 9+ reviews are unwarranted imo...I'd go with an 8 especially if you like coop...I'm not as into that stuff, so I'm very glad i rented it.
Fun game overall though.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell Conviction (360 & PC)
Completely agree.
Spent the past two hours playing the first two (there are four) Co-Op Campaign levels on realistic. Holy crap they are hard...but the gameplay is just ****in' unbelievable in my opinion. Had so much fun, despite the fact it took us over half an hour to get by one part.Comment
