If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
I'm not disagreeing about whether it will be ported or not, just that it won't do big numbers on the 360. If it launched day and date with the PS3 version, it would drown beneath Halo 3 & GTA IV. The PS3 has MGS 4 as an AAA tentpole surrounded by mostly unproven "franchises".
As far as ports not being difficult or expensive, I'm sorry, but that's 100% BS. From recent garbage like F.E.A.R. on PS3, to classic goofs like game-killing glitches in Shadow Man (PSX), and abbreviated content (Resident Evil 2, N64), ports can wildly vary in quality and cost. Hence the trend of development being split amongst studios for separate versions of games.
Hell, there was slowdown in parts of the Xbox port of Metal Gear Solid 2 that wasn't present in the PS2 original.
It's clear you're not a MS/XBOX guy and that you enjoy your PS3 maybe a tad beyond what is considered "normal", but you can't argue with the fact that the PS3 has absolutely no good games out right now, and few that they do received mixed reviews.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
the reason MGS didn't sell well on XBOX was because the majority had already played it when it came three years earlier for the PS2. I didn't even own a PS2 but still have played through the majority of it and seen the ending so what's the purpose of getting it on the XBOX?

Nobody mentioned the current selection of PS3 games, and when I personally have, I've acknowledged the absence of good games.D E S E R V E_V I C T O R YR.I.P. Sean Taylor (1983-2007), a True CaneComment

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
I would get this game on 360 but I am not making any plans until it is officially announced. If this game happends to come out for 360 then I wouldn't be surprised if they say something at E3 but I wont be holding my breath. And another thing calm down people. PS3 owners if it comes out for the 360 you will still have it for the PS3, and 360 owners if it doesn't come out for the 360 then buy a PS3 if you want to play the game so bad.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
I hope this gets ported, but wish they would either make the announcement or just shut up about it. If they want to ignore 10 million+ potential customers, fine...it's not like we have nothing else to play. It'll hurt them alot more than it'll hurt us.
It seems to be absolutely KILLING some of these Japanese devs that they now have to play ball with the Gaijin.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
This game will be coming to the 360 just like 90% of third party PS3 exclusives have done. Ace Combat 6 is now a 360 exclusive, Devil May Cry 4, Tekken 6, Assassins Creed, VF5 are all going multiplatform.
Hell, Katamri which was slated to be a next-gen multiplatform game has been canned for the PS3 and now is only for the 360 and Wii.Comment

Re: MGS4 on the 360?
It's officially, unofficial MGS4 is 360 bound sooner rather than later, Sony your screwed.
Konami reckons the USD 100 price cut won't significantly improve sales of the PS3, and as a result the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4 game may not remain exclusive to the format, GamesIndustry.biz is reporting.
"I wonder if Sony can win back user support by the price cut of just USD 100," said Kazumi Kitaue, head of Konami's North American and European operations, speaking to Reuters.
"I don't expect a substantial impact... With USD 500, you can buy a personal computer," he said.
Although the latest title in Konami's leading action franchise Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is currently a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Kitaue indicated that the company may consider releasing it on other formats to help recoup development costs.
"Since Metal Gear was born on the PlayStation, we would like to keep it a PlayStation game. But we might have to take some steps," he said.Comment
