Fantastic environmental puzzles are among the best of the series Great boss fights require you to use every game mechanic at your disposal. Atmospheric levels are a pleasure to explore Various gameplay elements mesh nicely into a seamless whole.

    The Bad
Some of the contextual actions don't control all that well Streamlined controls make things a little too easy and a little less adventurous. Doesn't do much different than the previous two Metroid Prime games.
Forget what Gamespot says this game is a blast no pun intended with the Wiimote.

Man I must stink at this game. Who said it was easy? I'm playing it on normal mode and the AI puts up a good fight. So far I like a lot about this game. Graphics, WiiMote, and atmosphere. I do agree with Gamespot though, it does seem to be more of a shooter than the previous two. It's sort of like a cross between Halo and Metroid but I do think the game is ace though.

Re: Metriod Prime 3: Corruption discussion...

In between mowing and lifting weights, I played through the first boss.

          Quick impressions:
This is my first Metroid game, ever. I love the atmosphere of the game (one of the things I loved about Halo) and the score is just eerie/awe inducing.
The controls just feel natural and lets the game flow amazingly well. After playing with the wii-mote, I just cannot imagine going back to the dual analogs for a FPS.
The graphics are (finally) terrific for the Wii.

So far, the game hasn't been exceedingly difficult, but I've taken a little bit of damage as well, so its in the middle I suppose. The one thing I was disappointed in was the default controller lay-out. Why is the trigger defaulted to the A button? I'm happy they let you switch shooting and jumping around, otherwise I would have been pissed.

Bacardi, you need to add my wii #.

You get it from the security panel directly behind the door that needs the code. You have to scan the panel to activate it first before it gives you the code.

Made it to the second planet, bryyo, and stopping there for the night. The fights have been a non stop adrenaline-induced ride. so far its been alot of fun.

The first couple of hours or so feel a bit linear, but i suppose the game will open up after getting through that first section. But otherwise its been fantastic.

                    no spoilers tonight

Because it's a top notch game that's both fun and challenging and it's the best looking game so far on the Wii.

Yeah I got them that's how I got past the crate by the switch which I had to blow up to open the door. I stopped and saved after the sliding bridge came out. Yeah i'm playing it first on normal also and after I beat the game then i'll step it up to hard and maybe hyper mode.
