Re: Metriod Prime 3: Corruption discussion...
can someone give me a basic idea how the controls work? With Bioshock previously ruling my time, I passed on this at release...not sure when I'll pick it up, but I don't really know anything about it. Does it use the Wii movement controls pretty well?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Metriod Prime 3: Corruption discussion...
I'm not far at all, in the middle of the Bryyo Jungle level, just beat the boss, Korakk. Maybe about 3 hours of gameplay time so far.
The game is definitely a lot of fun, it really makes you think and explore every inch of every room to find what you need to do to move on. I just haven't had the time to really sit down for a solid couple hours at one time and really make some progress. Wasn't a huge fan of the first two Prime games but I'm definitely liking this one a lot better thus far.Comment

The wii-mote controls (obviously) aiming. Aim to the side of the screen to turn. The default button for firing is A and the B trigger is used to jump, but thankfully there is an option that lets you switch the two (which I did first thing). The motions respond really well; I haven't had a time where I motion to do something and it doesn't do it. You use motions to interact with certain interfaces in the levels and in the ship and there is a grapple cable that is performed on some enemies and some obstacles with a flicking of the nunchuck. Personally, I think the controls are perfect and fluid - I love it.

It uses the nunchuck controller - you use the analog stick to move forward, backward, and side to side. Z-trigger is used to lock onto targets in your different visor modes.

Re: Metriod Prime 3: Corruption discussion...
It is really good I am about 7 hours in around 30% complete so it is a long game for me anyways.
You must change to advance control as soon as you get it. It takes a little while to get used to but once you do you will love it.
The graphics are nice for the WII the art design is amazing though. The music is great as well. The boss fights are entertaining.XBL: Countach

Man, can't believe this thread died out so soon.
I still haven't had a chance to play this game yet, but I'm pumped. I really won't be able to play until November.

Re: Metriod Prime 3: Corruption discussion...
Oh man, I bought this game on the day it came out, which was the first day of school. Because of that, I haven't put anywhere NEAR the amount of time I want to put into it.
This game is amazing, in the limited time I've had to play. I hope to get deeper once I get the chance to settle down and actually play. The only real problem with the game is, you know you're going to have to play for hours to get something substantial out of a session, so it's really difficult to sit down and dedicate the required chunk of time.Comment
