Holy hell what a game. I've been playing for about two hours straight and it felt like nothing. It's probably the best game I've played (overall game) in a long time.

You can take it slow and scan, but one wrong move and you're suddenly in a fight for your life with 5 or 6 people attacking you, while not being able to move this way or that due to security turrets. Then you see one of the Big Daddies and it's just like "Holy ****..."

The best part was actually spending a minute or two thinking about whether or not I wanted to Harvest or Rescue the little sister. I chose rescue the first time, but the second one I said screw it and just went ahead and harvested her.

I just beat the first level in about 2 hours and it could have taken a good 3 hours but there were times when I just wanted to move on. Some scary *** moments, as well. Seeing a shadow on the wall, then the shadow dissppears and you turn the corner and look around just epxecting something to jump out at you...it's intense.

At the moment, easily the best single player game on the 360, in my opinion.
      Ok...now im excited.

Only thing they changed is the plasmids and the weapons and how quickly you acquire/level up/etc. The actual level is roughly the same I think.

What level is everyone playing on? I was thinking of starting on Medium and playing the next round on hard.

Been playing this for a little bit now (X360), and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Using your plasmids is so cool, and nothing feels better to me than catching an rpg in mid-air, and tossing that sucker back to blow the hell out of the enemy. Fighting the Big Daddy's is loads of fun. Those baddies can take loads of damage. I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone who has not played it yet, so I will leave it at that. Great game, and one of the best to come out this year imo!

Well I had played through the demo twice, but I've already jumped at 2 or 3 parts that I knew something was about to happen.

                  Splicers....creepy as ever.

this game cries out to be played on a big screen at night or with the lights down.

My wife actually came into the room and sat down to watch; totally creeped out by the 60's theme.

So far a great experience. Can't say too much more without spoiling it. Game moves fast and smooth on the 360.

Yep. I'm going to stop playing now and wait till it gets dark and everyones in bed. I'll be on my 57" tv. Condemned was scarry as crap and this is also on the top of the list.

Anyways I am very happy with the game. Even more than I though I would. I went from not getting the game to maybe. Played the demo and it became a buy. Just in the short time I've played it has somewhat creeped me out and I can't wait to keep playing. Some of the things on the tapes you find are just screwed up and adds to the experience.

agreed. some of those tapes are just really disturbing. Excellent job on voice work to give you that sense of dread the person recording the message was trying to convey.

I just made it to the Medical Pavilion, this game rocks. Atmosphere is unbelievable, grahpics are great, I love electrocuting people.

I picked mine up in the early afternoon. Didn't preorder, but I was able to snag a copy from Walmart as EB and GS in my area were bone dry. I'm at the medical pavilion and really digging this game so far. Graphics, lighting, and special effects are simply amazing. It's easily one of the best looking games I've ever seen. The dark spooky 1960s setting is great as well. Playing the game in the dark with a surround sound system really adds to the mood IMO. Needless to say, I'm very happy with my purchase.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
