Not at all. These types of games wouldn't be the same as a multiplayer game.
The great part about the game is how it brings you in and you are "there". Multiplayer , IMO , wouldn't allow this. There's enough multiplayer games out there and I love the occasional single player experience.

One of the coolest moments last night was I used incinerate on 2 guys and I saw them both take off and dive into the water, which I promptly lit up with electricity. I know they talked about that AI before the game was released, but it was still very cool to see. And also, when you're fighting Big Daddy and all his lights on his head turn red and he starts charging you. That's totally a holy **** moment.

          I played in the dark during a raging thunderstorm . . .

          . . . for about 10 minutes.

in the dark while raining would just add to the intensity, especially with you being able to hear the water outside. Its like the most realistic surround sound system ever.

Agreed. I am not sure at what point a game became "lesser" because it had no multiplayer. You end up missing out on ALOT of great games if your criteria requires some sort of online multiplayer.

Not one bit. That just means they concentrated on making the Single player game the best it can be. Fine with me.

Actually...I will avoid it due to the motion sickness issues.

However...I basically have to avoid all 3D games. I don't know what it is, but I cannot play them without getting intense motion sickness.

Even watching someone play one for half an hour or so gives me headaches and nausea.

I honestly don't have a clue why...my brother plays them non stop and never has a problem.

I'm 37 now...the same thing happened when Doom and all those games came out 15 years back or whatever.

It kind of sux. Luckily I'm mainly a sports gamer

For some reason, that cracked me up. I could just see you huddled up in the corner, lights off, headphones on and tears in your eyes.

Question about headphones...do you just plug them into your tv or into the 360 or what? I've thought about getting some of those surround sound headphones for the 360 and just never knew how they worked.

I have my 360 hooked up to my computer monitor so I plug my headphones into my speakers.

The first time a Big Daddy came after me I almost crapped my pants. Not only the sound but it's a quick sob. I've never been b**** slapped by a machine before but I just took it like a man.

You know a game is great when a bunch of grown men feel like kids again with a ton of different stories from experience, lol. I Love It. I think more companies should take it back to immersive amazing single player action.

I may give it a shot and see if it's the same for me. I normally get intense motion sickness...
