ODogg, please do not start your game on Easy, play or Medium, It will be much more fun for you. Trust me.

After you finish 2 mediums, then go the third via hard.

Best way to play the game to me.

Have fun, this game is very addicting........I must have spent an hour alone last night just taunting the Big Daddy's in different ways to just see what they would do. LOL!

Put in about an hour and a half on this game, still havent ran through any BD's. I just got to the part where you harvest or rescue the little sister for the first time. So should be very interesting once i see a BD to say the least. This is by far the best experience i have had with a video game in a very long time.

I couldn't do it either....not to start, I like games to be tough but enjoyable, I think hard would just be way too frustrating and i'd be yelling not having fun.

This game is super long though. I keep thinking I'm near the end and it extends a whole new level with things to do.

I will tell ya, i feel for the Big Daddies, having to follow those Little Sisters all the time must drive them nuts lol.

Amen. I can't get over how good this game is. I haven't been able to play it for a couple days and it is driving me crazy.

First two thirds of the game: 9.5/10

                    Last third: 5/10

Not sure what happened, but slogging through the last part of the game was just a chore. I'm pissed that I didn't find all the audio books (have to only be missing one or two), got every other achievement save the tonics (should have that one, too) and hard mode.

The story totally lost me because I couldn't hear **** over the screaming and repetetive chatting of the splicers, and I just got bored at the end. The shock and awe at the start just faded away. At the beginning I saw holes and darkness and was scared...in the end, it was "ho hum".

                    Flame away...

                      You're such a negative nellie.

Anyways guys, even though I bought the game yesterday I wasn't able to play it again today as I had a fantasy football draft tonight. But I still thought about the game quite a bit. The demo still haunts me.

Put some serious game time into the game tonight. Think I'm half way done, probably more.

I am almost at the end and I must say I agree with you to an extent. It seems like developers have trouble deciding how to end games. I loved loved LOVED HL2, but the ending felt very rushed to me. I am getting the same feel here. Most of the game had fantastic pacing, enough adventure and enough excitement. Towards the end the game is beginning to feel like Serious Sam where it's just pure bedlam and I am no longer enjoying the story.

This is still one hell of a game, but it is dragging on me towards the end.

So the screen would be cluttered further in a major firefight?

i agree to a point. my own personal feelings are that the ending wasnt foreshadowed enough therefore when you get to the point where the storyline takes a huge turn, you are really not that far from the end so it seems rushed. the audio recordins also make the story a little " rough" around the edges since they are not a required part of the game so basically if you miss 2 or 3 of them towards the end it might feel akward.
