Negative, didn't even think about it. Went on, not a single person on my friends list playing it. Since I hate playing with randoms, and no one seems to be getting it, I don't see myself getting this. Unless impressions are just off the charts, since no one has given any yet, I'm not seeing that happening either. $40 is still a hard pill to swallow for an online game only.Comment

I think I'm going to pick up the in-store copy today. I don't have a blu-tooth headset and could use one for my phone as well. EG, I bought Shadowrun at launch and that was $60. I've played that for more than 60 hours so I think it was a bargain coming out to less than a buck per hour of entertainment. And I still love it. Warhawk looks pretty darn fun and you only have to get 20 hours of entertainment from it to make it worthwhile, IMO. Where else can you get entertained for $2 an hour?PSN: ScoopBrady

8.8 from IGN.
It may be multiplayer only, it may not have bots, and it may have a steep learning curve, but Warhawk lives up to its billing: a AAA experience that is an adrenaline rush for online fans. Large worlds, balanced combat mechanics and impressively deep server mechanics help this fast paced game soar. Regardless if you happen to prefer the retail version or the downloadable PSN title, this Sony exclusive shouldn't pass PS3 owners by.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

The game looks like Battlefield for the 360, which I enjoyed, so we'll see how it turns out. I'm at 70% now. I'll finish the download, and play a couple rounds.Comment

Wow, this game's fun. It reminds me so much of Battlefield on the 360, which IMO is a good thing. I enjoyed that game.
I agree with Backbreaker on how the vehicles handle, they're very easy to control. However, I can't figure out how to exit a jeep. I've tried everything. I'm also unsure of how to change weapons. I need to read a manual.
4 game modes, and only 5 maps. Game modes are your standard Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Zones, and CTF. Maps are pretty big, and the landscape looks beautiful. There's also a good number of customization options, though it's not on par with what we've seen in the Tom Clancy games.
I love how you can change the control options for each vehicle group.
I played in a room of 16, and another with 20. No lag.Comment
