Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
not frustrating at all but just the irritation on continually getting sniped with about 99% accuracy from unseen enemies from random rooftops, even when they're out of your range of shot. No matter how much you run or lunge you still get hit... unless you find cover that isnt also being riddled with enemy fire from the other side they'll get youComment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
There is no real stealth in this game. If youre walking around the streets alot expect to get shot at or shot up and die sometimes too. It happens on rooftops as well but you can run away sometimes to fire back.
You dont start off with all of the powers either so you have to work your way up there.Comment

Listening to the IGN Beyond Podcast, and they recommended to not upgrade any of Cole's lightning powers at first, but to upgrade his damage resistance, otherwise they've found they were dying a lot in the first half of the game.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
I agree with that, but i ended up racking up alot of points first about 8000 then upgraded a ton of stuff at once. The body damage and ability to recharge from something like a car or light pole faster are two terrific things to upgradeComment

I got this feeling from the demo, just learning the controls and everything it was kinda tough at points cause I'd have no clue where the enemy was sniping me from and I'd die. I think with me it was more comfort with controls and cover, but upgrading health never hurts.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Its kinda cool they let you do that but the sniping thing is kinda unfair at points in the game... and that part in the demo when you get to the game is tough where you have to protect the medical supplies on that one spot.Comment

23, I see what you're talking about with the snipers but I really haven't found it to be much of a problem. Like I said, I am seriously loving this game so far.Comment

Yeah, I played for about 3 hours and I'm loving it too. I'm seriously impressed with how well this game controls. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since the Sly Cooper games controlled so well, but inFamous is an open-world game, and I haven't played another that controls as fluid. Totally feels like a polished third-person shooter combined with Sly Cooper. Bravo Sucker Punch.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
Does anyone know the amount of gameplay time it has? Just curious before I decide to buy it.Last edited by Skyboxer; 05-26-2009, 07:27 PM.Joshua:

I'm sure someone here will finish it sooner or later. The game time also changes depending on how many side missions you choose to do. I haven't read anything about the game being too short though. Looking forward to playing once I get the kids to bed.Comment
