I know it sounds strange that I have the strategy guide but don't want to use it. I got the guide free when I bought the game. They had 25 free ones to give away. Normally I never buy them. Sorry if that was confusing earlier.

Some weird stuff happens up to that point, lol

Some of you guys are flying through this. I'm about 5-6 hours in and am only at like 6-7%. Gotta say this game is fun as heck. I'm going the heroic side and am doing sidequest along the way. I would recommend this game that's for sure. Peace!!!!

Agreed JSky, this game is just pure fun. Even the snipers don't really bother me.

Remember J I had the game last week so im really not flying through it, lol

I did the side quests and stuff too and going the heroic karma route since you can do the evil thing later on.

Is the only thing that affects your Karma the decisions you make? Meaning, can you kill as many innocents as possible while moving from mission to mission and still be considered a hero?

your karma will go down if you hurt innocents or if you use evil powers during the missions.

Putting a reaper in Arc Restraints shows mercy earning good karma. But if you then kill him while restrained - mucho bad karma. All depends on the way you are playing the game but everything you do has an effect on karma.

I'm up to Champion now (2nd level Hero) after another 1.5 hours last night. Time flies by when playing this game. 3.5 hours in and I don't think I've completed 10% of the game. And I certainly will be playing a Villain later on.

LOL, that's funny.

Another funny thing about the game is that if Cole falls into water, he dies from electricution... I notice that the developers conveniently made it so it never rains.

some shallow water you can jump out of before you die but yeah thats true, and so is the fence thing...which is puzzling.

I really like the game; have played it exclusively since picking it up Tuesday - so far a little over 50% complete through the 1st island. I love that there's a consequence to your actions depending on how you're trying to play through the game - I'm trying to play the "good" superhero, so I have to be mindful when I'm in a heated battle to try to avoid accidently killing civilians. Even something as simple as flipping cars off of the railway tracks can accidently have a car fall onto a person. The rooftop sniping can get irritating. Also like how you have to be careful when going into a non-powered part of the city and have to scour for power sources. Not sure how much interest I'll have trying to play through it again as a bad guy, but definitely enjoying the game so far
